The Jets traded for Tebow because the Giants won the Superbowl and no one in New York was talking about them. They wanted to drive PSLs and ticket sales. Then they realized that they have a media circus around them/ESPN power thrusting Tebow into every segment.

I wouldnt mind seeing the Ravens pick up Tebow. They have Tyrod Taylor but Hes not any better/worse than Tebow. Not like they're gonna need him anyway

I think it's insulting to every TE in the league to say that Tebow can switch at the drop of a hat without any training or practice and become a tight end on a given team.

That defense was hardly lights out. They played pretty well against the lesser teams but stunk whenever they played a good team as seen by their being ranked 20th in total defense. They also lost by a similar score to the same team in the REGULAR SEASON, no idea why anyone was expecting a different result.

Now I'm not making excuses for Tebow as he did play poorly most of the time, but I find it just as sad when people find excuses to take away from his successes as when others try to dismiss his failures. It's like which party can be more annoying his supporters or haters. Statements like his just seem even more ironic coming from such a big Romo fan which is why I brought it up in the first place.

No it's not. Football pundits judge different positions on different criteria

Passing records, Touchdown records, completion percentage, QB ratings...all that shit will be eclipsed sooner or later by some youngster. The two things that will never be taken or broken are WINS, and CHAMPIONSHIPS. Poor Dan Marino. I always feel bad for him, the dude is probably the best pure passer in NFL history, but he always gets dumped on since his teams were pretty mediocre at best after 1990 or so.
