Cycling at the gym helps build your stamina and your cycling skills. Running on the treadmill makes you lose weight and increases your stamina.

Don't worry about the driving school, you'll get a mission and then you can go there.

Man. I really like this game and all, but ever since that one "plot twist" or whatever (after you get stuck in buttfuck nowhere), this is getting really shitty. I dunno, I don't like this whole hick town, and that Catalina chick is really getting on my nerves. I like being in the city.

I love the countryside, but I hate it. I think it's well-made and adds a GREAT aspect to the game. I like the dirt roads, the farms, the mountains; it all looks great.

The problem is, it takes FOREVER to get through it, and it's very complex with all the dirt roads and highways and levels it has to navigate through it. Driving from, say, Angel Pine to Dillimore took me like eight or ten solid minutes because even with my map, it's so confusing finding my way around.

Yeah it looks really cool and all, adds a nice touch. I am salivating at the possibility of just fucking around with a motorcycle in the mountains and getting crazy stunt bonuses too But I mean, I dunno, just the 'story' during this part, kinda seems like it's slowing the game down. Seems like a slow point in the game, but maybe that's just me.

It is. I went kinda nuts a little earlier in this page of the thread. I wanted to get the FUCK out of the countryside so I could unlock San Fierro. The missions kinda suck where you are, but luckily, they're not very difficult.

The worst missions are the ones in San Fierro where you have to drive back to the countryside.

The worst missions are the Zero missions, i can't beat the one where you fly and have to destroy like 5 vans, it's fucking immpossible.

I am still in LS, I wanted to buy all the clothes... speaking about buying, anyone know where some safe houses are?

Just look on the map, those like green house things are properties you can buy, and once you buy them they turn into safehouses.

Most of them are $10,000, but recently I've seen some $30,000 and $40,000 ones

I just found out that you can place a custom 'go to' mark on your minimap by pressing O on where you want to go on the map in the start menu. That is pretty cool.

also I just found out you can just kill the people in the house and you can run out all the tv's and vcrs

Finally beat that crappy mission with Smoke, the next mission was hella sweet.

I took over about 8/9 territories and then went into The Pig Penn to get a private dance and the thing crashed on me Managed to make about $16,000 and now its all gone

I'm kinda wishing I did more side stuff in Los Santos and earned more money. I just think I'm gonna try to get through the storyline as much as I can, and then go back and do the 100% stuff and get lots of cash.

Yeah, I flew through Los Santos. I did the robbery thing once outside of the mission and took over one territory before they disappeared. I hope they come back later, but I doubt they will.

Didn't lose as much as I thought, just a couple of grand and about 3 territories. At the moment I've got the biggest gang with 39% of the territories. Done all the mission's in Los Santos apart from the car ones.

I agree with RDD. The game is very slow now after Los Santos. I'm in the early stages of the San Fierro missions (done with Catalina and such). It's cool to not be in the back country anymore, but damn it's still not even close to the amount of fun LS was.

San Fierro has a much more old GTA-like feel to it. I thought the city would be bigger, but the missions I've done so far have been great [especially Amphibious Assassin]. I just think the game has reached a drag in the storyline. I'm doing the missions for what seems like no reason. I'm just in San Fierro trying to make money, I guess.

Beat all of Smoke's missions now.

When I tried robbing people, I could steal an item, then when I go back in there is someone there, I don't have enough time to kill them and run from the cops

I am going to do the street race for Cesar next, it is gay but I almost won it first try, came 2nd.

I really dreaded the races, but when I finally just did them I found them extremely easy. I won the two most recent ones the very first time I tried, and I wasn't even going very fast. I think people hear the word race and think they have to gun it the whole time, I just took my time and wasn't afraid to use the break.

Fuck you, these races are awful. I'm on the "Farewell, my love" mission, and this is horrible. This isn't fun at all. I want the story to stop sucking, or I'm just gonna go chill in Los Santos and find tags to spray. Fucking Catalina.

Yeah, that mission almost did the same to me RDD. I'm on Zero's first mission and Amphibious Assasin, but it won't let me do the mission because it says I'm not a good enough swimmer. So I'm guessing I got to increase my lung capacity but how?

Go and swim for like 20 minutes depending on how low your stamina and lung stats are. Dive down until you run out of oxygen then dive up and let the meter fill back up. While it's filling just swim around. Repeat until you've upgraded both skills.

I just found the Pimping Missions

You have to get in the old type of car called a "Boardway" then you press R3 to start the missions. The goal is to pick up a 'Hooke... er.. a lady, take her to a customer, then pick up another lady and take her to a customer, then go back and pick up the first lady, she will give you a slice of her cash, then take her to somebody else, then pick up lady number 2, get a slice of her cash, it goes up to 10 with the money going from 300, to 600, to 900 to 1200 etc. Pretty good I got a middle Pimping metre

anyway if you cannot find a Boardway I found one at the gas station in south-west idlewood.
