The Phins had some, just coldn't do anything with them.

Like the big pass to McMichael who made it down field slipped, got up and just as his knee got off the ground before he had been touched Colvin came from behined and punched the ball out.

Hobbs looked a little better then starks.

I did like The Phins throwing to the left corner of the endzone where their WR's couldn't see in the sun.

I admit, the wilson one was a little strange, he got up slow, held his hand, and then went down on the field, the trainers came out and then walked him off.

What seemed strange to me, it was late in the game, it seemed to be a hand injury, and by him lieing down, it cost the Pats their last time out.

As for the cap, I don't think at this point in the season the cap would change, also doesn't he have another year? so the salary bonus would accelerate and hit right away, which could put them over.

He caused this, not the Eagles, I keep hearing how the Eagles treat their players like crap... what exactly have they done to TO?

If TO, didn't trash his team mates and the organization, none of this would be happening. Plain and simple, TO did this to TO and now he has to live with it.

There's talk that Jerry Jones may try and "force" TO on Parcells.

The Eagles spent money, traded (picks? players? I don't remember what the deal was) and expected him in return to conduct himself aproriately. Honestly, the Vikes probably could learn a thing or two from the Eagles.

Also, keep in mind, we're talking about 5games. the 4 games is a suspension for conduct detrimental to the team, the team has that right, it's in the PA Agreement and it's in every contract.

I am willing to put this on the Eagles solely for that reason. Owens is paid to produce, which he does. That production comes with a price, as they knew. And now people are acting like this was out of left field. That's BS.

Owens should be suspended. And that's it. That's the extent of what they can do to him, AS STATED ON THE CBA, 4 games is the Max. Owens is fighting it. I just read that Keyshawn had no problems being deactivated, otherwise he'd have fought it. So Owens is going to get on the field or released this year. Because what is happening is against the CBA. I repeat, 4 games is the max. And that is for a reason. He cannot be deactivated for any legitimate reason. They need to take action. They cannot lie about it.

And as per the Vikings, the Vikings shipped out who they considered to be a bad seed. They thought his behavior was too extreme and was hurting the team -- but that's absolute bullshit. Everyone said that Owens' behavior was never bad enough to hurt his team, but it has turned out that the Eagles TRADED FOR the biggest headache the NFL has seen in years. The Vikings should learn from this? Bullshit. The Vikings should just learn from Parcells and Belicheck. You just get rid of them. You don't try to babysit them. If you try to bottle up something like this, it will explode in your face. You cut it loose. You cut ties, you move on.

And you do not cut loose all players you deem to be problems. That's what the SAINTS did. Now we see how that's panning out for them.

He's referencing 2 years ago when the Chiefs were undefeated and came into Cincy and he guaranteed a win and they ran over the Chiefs and their high powered offense.

Refering to the Signing Bonus. If you sign a 3yr deal with a 6mil Bonus (upfront money) it's applied to the cap over 3yrs (2mil/yr) if you cut the player say after year #1, then you take a 4mil hit year #2, instead of 2mil/2mil.

Just looked it up, Whiting and a 5th round pick. The original deal with the Ravens was for a 2nd round pick.

You're missing something here, he was on SUSPENDED for 4 games, he's being DE-ACTIVATED for the rest of the season, he still gets paid. I've yet to hear anyone prove how this violates the CBA, keep in mind the NFLPA has the worst CBA in pro sports (ok, hockey might now be close).

So bean, what if they put him on the roster and bench him. All game, he sits on the bench? would you consider that the same thing?

Oh, many people thought he would be this bad... and many people KNEW he would be this bad... anyone who didn't see this coming, had their heads up their asses, to be honest.

Though also, to be fair, Owens said something... nothing was done about it, so he got worse. Like a child who wants attention. And there were many different ways the Eagles could have handled this. Question: CBA allows how many games suspended without pay? 4? Okay. So... how many games is he allowed with pay to be benched? He can sit on the bench for the next three years, because he's a pain in the ass. Hmm.... well by all means, let's take even more power away from the players.
