Yeah. The way I see it, even though there's a smaller roster, the lastest wrestling games still have around 4x more characters than your typical fighting game. (Something like, what, 12 characters total in Tekken?) Plus there's always the option to create 32 more.

What was Brett Harts music again? And can they have the Do You smell What The Rock is Cookin? song because they dont have his voice over. I'm hoping they have Kanes old music. It was hardcore. The lights went out. Everytime the lights went out and it was kinda red you would know it was kane. You would hear the funeral music and then BOOM!!!!!! That's the only one I'm looking for. But the other one would be nice.

Legend of the Day #1
Height: 6'2" Hometown: Glasgow, Scotland Weight: 235lbs He hailed from Glasgow, Scotland and spent most of his early years in Canada. Roddy Piper brought to the Ring toughness and the ability to irritate his opponents and the fans that have set a standard by which others are compared. Roderick Toombs was the son of a tough Canadian policeman and this toughness passed down to him. After repeated disagreements with his father, young Roderick left his family's house at age 12 living wherever he could for the next three years. Having become a noted young boxer and amateur wrestler, he was offered $25.00 by a Canadian promoter to appear in a match and he accepted. The 15 year old was defeated by former world champion Larry "the Axe" Hennig in ten seconds. Rather than be discouraged by the defeat, he foresaw his future - and it was in wrestling. As Roddy Piper he moved to the Pacific Northwest promotion and then moved down to Los Angeles where he won the NWA Americas title and the Los Angeles Battle Royal in 1976. He next held one half of the NWA Americas tag team title and the NWA US title in 1978. In 1981 Piper took on Ric Flair and defeated him for the NWA US title and then defeated Ricky Steamboat for the NWA Mid-Atlantic belt later in the year. In 1983 he regained the NWA US title in a legendary dog-collar match against Greg "the Hammer" Valentine. Having found success throughout the NWA regions, Piper moved to the Northeast in 1984 to join the WWF. He became an immediate success as the top heel in the promotion. While many credit Hulk Hogan for bringing about the huge resurgence in popularity of professional wrestling (and rightly so) it is important to remember that without the villainy brought to the Ring by Piper, Hogan would never had been in a position to be the conquering hero. Pipers challenge to Hogan and actor Mr. T. would bring about the most important event in WWF history to that point - WrestleMania I. Although the match ended in a disqualification, it brought mainstream attention to professional wrestling and allowed the WWF to flex its muscle and become the major contender to the NWA. Piper was quite capable as a ring performer but where he excelled (and exceeded) was in front of a microphone. Piper was the most obnoxious, irritating and offensive heel ever to set foot in the WWF and through his Piper's Fit interview segment could be counted on to set into motion most of the major storylines for the WWF. His speaking ability gave him the impetus to move in another direction - that of a movie star. Piper obtained numerous roles in movies, the most well-known of which was "They Live." Piper gained wide praise for his role and would gain on to play in more than 15 other movies, one of those rare wrestlers who were able to crossover to the "real" acting world. Legend of the Day #2
Height: 6' Hometown: Fiji Islands Weight: 250lbs Though there are many professional wrestling characters and superstars, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka was one of the most influential. On May 18, 1943, James Reiher was born in the South Pacific nation of the Fiji Islands. When he was 26 years old, he began his professional wrestling career under the name of Jimmy Kealoha in Hawaii. In the 1970s, he moved to the mainland United States, where he began using the name Jimmy Snuka. He made a name for himself quickly, winning the Pacific Northwest Wrestling Tag Team Championship seven times, and the PNW Heavyweight title six times between 1973 and 1977, in addition to other titles. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Snuka would perfect the aerial moves that earned him the nickname "Superfly." During the longtime feud between Snuka and Don Muraco, Snuka wowed audiences at Madison Square Garden and around the world when he leaped from the top of the cage and onto Muraco at a 1983 cage match. This legendary moment cemented Snuka's worldwide wrestling fame. Snuka also developed a longtime rivalry with "Rowdy" Roddy Piper, who infamously smashed a coconut on his head during an episode of his television show, "Piper's Pit." In April and July of 1992, Snuka again proved his wrestling prowess by winning the Eastern Championship Wrestling World Title. Four years later, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's contribution to the showmanship and sport of professional wrestling was immortalized when he was inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame. Notes on Roddy Piper:
- Scottish drums...Bagpipes.....from GlasCow ( ) Rowdy...RODDY...PIPER! He comes on stage and doesn't do much. He walks down to the ring and taunts. Cant say I remember his music being like that, but it's Scottish at least.- It's Piper vs Orton and match is underway. Orton gets in a couple of slaps and uppercuts before Piper hits back with a running knee to the gut. Piper gives Orton a nasty piledriver. Orton gets up and Piper gives him the Kitchen Sink knee. Piper then goes downstairs and Low Blows Orton. - Piper levels Orton with a dropkick and then takes him down again with a armbar ddt. Piper then lifts up Orton and gives him the Aeroplane spin, followed by a back body drop. Orton then is standing up and Piper just pokes him in the eye - Piper levels Orton with a knee to the gut, and then gives him his Piper Strikes. Piper then locks in the sleeper hold....but Orton times it well and gets the yellow dot in the escape bar. Video ends with no finish ![]() Piper looks good when he's wrestling, still think his close ups are abit odd though. |

9.5 Charisma for Snuka? thats a laugh. He had the worst promo skills i've ever seen (including Gene Snitsky).
Snuka: "Brother, you know you beat me twice, but you never beat me once" Me: WTF IS HE ON ABOUT Even Mick Foley, the worlds biggest Snuka mark said that Snuka's promos were crap. |

Maybe because he's a legend, it automatically gives them high charisma because they can get the crowd going. His promo's still sucked though.
