So, I'm on the fast track to 70 and then my GM tells us that he will not be taking any shamans into Karazhan whatsoever because he says they're broken. I'm pissed at the guild for the time being but am not going to give up WoW because I'm addicted...

So... looking for another server ATM. What are you all on? Where should I roll a new toon? And are you all on horde or alliance?

So I take it you're a Dranei shaman deadly? What server you play on currently? PVE or PVP?

I play on Zul'jin usually, I have a 66 gnome mage. If you're high level you should transfer, there's quite a few guilds on this server, I'm sure you could find one..

I'm the CO-GM of a fairly decent rainding guild but my RL friend (GM) is pissin me off. Gonna reroll soon. We've got like 35 70's atm but I'm gonna take a break til we get through this whole 10 man raid shit

Says he's gonna be the only melee DPS in every 10 man raid. Which leaves every enhance sham, rogue, fury warrior, and hunter (says hunter cause they do same type of damage) completely fucked.

No offense, your friend is a moron and a loot whore, if he's gonna do that. But there's no such thing as a dps warrior in Kara, so he's right there.

My guilds Kara group normally goes, 1 War, 2 Pally, 2 Priests, 1 Druid, 1 Mage, 1 Lock, 1 Hunter, 1 Rogue. Works great, got the Curator down last night. Only reason we don't bring a shaman is because our highest one is 66.

It's a horrible thing being a warrior right now.

Bears can take as much damage as a prot warrior, hold aggro on multiple targets much easier, and dps as good as an arms/fury warrior at the same time. It is innefficient to have a warrior tank as it stands right now... it's better for them to spec arms or fury and just do dps in the 5 mans with a bear tank. And even then we're screwed because we're a melee class with no real CC or utility.

I'm curently a prot warrior who is only useful on the 5 mans that can't get a bear, and I have to stay prot because i'm a main tank of karazhan =\

One of my good friends is a bear, and when i was arms a few days ago we did instances so efficiently with him tanking and me on dps.

Unfortunately Gohan, you're right on the money. Our guild's main tank in Kara and other raids will most likely be our badass bear tank. The only thing about is that even on DPS, many classes will be able to out DPS you as well. Bad time to be a warrior atm, but I'm sure it will change in the near future.

Warriors who know how to play as a dps warrior are fine when it comes to raw dps. When I was arms (I switched prot) only 2 people in my entire guild (we were a guild into AQ40 when 60 so we're not a n00b guild) could outdps me. A warlock, and a Fury Warrior. The actual raw dps is fine, but we just don't have the utility or CC of other dps classes.

Anyhoo.... I'm still going to be main tank of my guild's second karazhan team. Our OT is going to be a bear. I was actually picked to be the raid leader as well, so that video you posted LoDown will help me out. I'd appreciate vids of attunemen, moroes and the maiden if you have them although I'm pretty sure I have the strategies down.

Good news Gohan. Just saw that warriors are getting buffed considerably in the next patch notes. You get a 5% increase to threat and some other good stuff. Looks like you'll get your tank jobs back.

Anyhow, where did you find the patch notes? I'd like to read the rest.. they aren't up on worldofraids.com yet
