Nice Celtics took Jared Sullinger who according to ESPN really helps out with the porr rebounding the Cs have had the past few years.

ESPN's draft chat was hinting the Cs were taking Fab Melo instead which would have been horrible and yet a typical dumb Ainge draft move he does every year.

Edit: Nevermind Ainge found a way to be dumb and got Melo instead of Perry Jones (best available) or Will Barton (fits their need at SG).

The fans go all crazy when they finally get to their pick since they finally show up on camera and then just silence followed by a ton of boos once the pick came in. One of the best things about the New York area hosting drafts is just what their reactions will be since they are the most vocal.

Jared looked similar in the videos of him playing to the way KG plays. Hopefully he'll be able to teach him if he stays on.

Melo seems to be a project piece. If he can be taught to give a shit he might be worth the effort. Two draft picks in the first round probably made Ainge think he could afford a risk.

Not sure how such a passionate team such as the Celtics could handle a player like Melo. Not looking good unless unless Doc Rivers can knock some sense into him.

KG expected to make his initial decision on retiring or having 1 more year within the weekend. If he stays, he's expected to take a large pay cut ($21 million last season) but will also only play for Boston.

Apparently MKG has a stuttering problem. That's why in the interview after he got drafted he didn't say anything. And Bill Simmons edited his column after mocking him a bit right after feeling bad.

KG returning for at least 1 more year with the Celtics after deciding not to retire and signed a 3 year $34 million deal.

He also agreed to a 50% pay cut to give the team $10 million extra in cap space for this season with the Cs rumored to be looking at OJ Mayo and a few others with that extra money saved.

Heat are currently rushing to get Ray Allen signed before a bidding war begins due to them only having $3 million available while teams like the Cs ($10 million + Bird rights), Phoenix ($20 million cap space), and others can match and go above anything Miami offers. Miami's biggest offering is promising him a lot of minutes as a potential 6th man and a good chance at another ring.

Grizzles officially join Boston and Miami in the Allen sweepstakes with Phoenix expected to officially join once Steve Nash's situation is done. Atlanta, Dallas, and the Clippers also rumored to involved or preparing to get involved.

Raptors offer Steve Nash a 3 year $36 million deal although the Mavs, Knicks, Nets, and Heat rumored to be involved in his sweepstakes.

Dwight Howard rumored to have told the Magic he wants to be traded to Brooklyn this offseason. His rumor doesn't hinge on Deron Williams staying since he's expected to be gone.

Nets themselves are going after Joe Johnson in a trade with Atlanta with the assumption Deron will leave. The Hawks rumored to be getting Jordan Farmar, Johan Petro, Anthony Morrow and Jordan Williams expiring contracts.

Portland going after Indiana's Roy Hibbert with a max contract offer of 4-year, $58 million deal.

Yknow, i think we need improvements as a team, but overall the Lakers really just were badly coached. We can easily create a bench by placing either Gasol or Bynum on the bench, and move Artest to PF.

Most of all, Brown is playing Pau way out of his game.

The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks have agreed in principle to a trade that will send Joe Johnson to Brooklyn for a few spare parts and a lottery-protected draft pick. The Nets are also expected to re-sign Deron Williams soon.
