It's obvious they never had an idea who the Raw GM would actually be and still don't. I really don't get why they didn't just give the job to someone from the beginning.

I don't really know what the storyline there would be. Like Kharma feeling bad about her bullying ways or something? I have no idea where they're going with this but I'm intrigued.

Something like Kharma takes all of her frustrations out on the pretty Divas because she was made fun of as a child for being a monster.

the side story for the main event was Punk mocking bret through out the match:
Punk used the side russian leg sweep, backbreaker then elbow from the second rope, and tried to go for the sharpshooter. He also verbally taunted Hart in the match. The commentators didn't pick up on that!?! Without the commentary team pointing all that out it made that sharpshooter seem like overkill. Punk /Bret feud on the horizon ? |

John Cena posted a fan's remark on Twitter regarding Punk's tribute. It reads: "pink trunks, yellow knee pads? How gay are you? I'm returning your action feagure to the store. I'll choose @JohnCena instead."
Cena responded, "Please don't. It was a tribute to randy savage. It was f'n awsome. I was proud to be out there with him." |

Ummmm is Kharma being released from the WWE? Is that why they had her breakdown like that on Raw?

Late to the party...
The no music R-Truth is an AMAZING R-Truth. And that is, well, the truth. I share the concern about where this Kharma thing is going. Making a snap judgment, I would assume they're going to make her "sorry for what she's done" in light of all the pops she was getting and try to force her as a face by ":sniff:...I just want to be pretty, too!" methods. Of course, this would completely negate WHY she was getting such strong reaction in the first place. We wanna see Kong kill pretty bitches dead. We wanna see her lock up with the "big girls" in Nattie and Beth. the IWC wants to see her in another feud with Gail Kim, since we know those two MADE the Knockouts Division and got it over to where it was a threat to the guys' TV time. I, for one, would rather they DIDN'T neuter her and make her a anti-bullying poster child, especially after all the build (and massive pops) she was getting as an indiscriminate bad-ass. I'm hoping it's more of some kind of "mentally unstable" thing- sweet one minute, evil bitch the next. The rocking back and forth and mumbling to herself made me think she was going to call out for "Uncle Vince". I guess we'll find out if she's becoming "Wo-Mankind" or the happy-go-lucky Oddities version of Luna in the coming weeks. Crowd sign: "Macho Man for Broski of the week" Also, for Punk's attire. I didn't notice it at first because of his shirt, but that was awesome. Looks like he dropped the elbow too, but couldn't tell because Bret kinda cock-blocked the camera angle. |

*RANDOM WHERE ARE THEY NOW*
So... Luke Gallows and Sylvester Terkay (remember him?) wrestled each other in Japan a month or so ago for Inoki's fed. called IGF. The match was so bad that Inoki himself came down to the ring and screaming at the wrestlers to stop the match and smashing ringside chairs into the guardrails. Inoki then topped it off by walking over to the announce table and slapping Masahiro Chono, who is the booker for IGF and booked the horrendous match. I'm guessing that Gallows and Turkey won't be getting too much more work in the orient... *RANDOM WHERE ARE THEY NOW* *Edit* Found some footage.. "> |

I didn't get online yesterday to talk about Owen Hart so I am choosing to do so now.
WHY OWEN HART IS POSSIBLY MY FAVORITE WRESTLER EVER: Growing up as the youngest son in a competitive family I always admired and understood the character plight of Owen Hart. I liked his in ring work but the thing that drew me to Owen the most was the family storyline. It was the height of my fandom and the thing I remember most about wrestling as a child....The Hart Family being torn in two at Wrestlemania 10. Totally epic and realistic storytelling that sucked me in. My other love is legitimate tag team wrestling. It is a true art to create a believable match that draws an audience. It has been almost a decade since I would say tag teams have drawn money. Owen was an amazing singles competitor but, to me, excelled when featured in a tag team. He was the perfect partner. He could wrestle, he had charisma & most of all he understood the art of tag team performance. Yokozuna. Brittish Bulldog. Anvil. Bret. NoD. All highlights of a spectacular career. Next, he had some of the best character development & storylines in the history of the business. He had a great mind and could take something simple and make it work for him in a way that nobody else could. A slammy winner? He took that trophy and created a villain. A cast? Well it is a documented heat creator but he also made that work for several months. King of the Ring? He made half a career out of that win..while guys today drop the schtick after a month. He had a brilliant mind and could make whatever was given to him work. <3 Miss you Owen and will forever. |

Have to admit, I marked for Bourne last night. Shame he was just used as squash-match filler for Swagger to start his RAW singles career.

Kevin Nash is going to be on a TV Show here in Scotland sometime this week.
Though the presenter called him a "WWF Wrestler" and showed a picture of Nash from his run in TNA as she said it. |

You can tell he's cool by the way he replaces all the "S's" with "Z's". Only cool people do that. |

Been watching a lot of old WWF videos and the WWE should really bring back those mini-rings for Wrestlemania. They still look great to do and at everyone throwing stuff at Macho Man when he lost to Steamboat.
