In my opinion, if you eat what you kill, I'm all for hunting.

But if you want to hunt for sport, it's usually indicative of micro penis envy. Shooting an animal 40 yards away is not bad ass or you showing exercising your right to kill because you're at the top of the food chain. If you want to be a bad ass, go into that environment and try to kill it with only what God, Allah, or Darwin gave you since that's all the animal has to fight back with, then we'll see who comes out on top.

So far I've been able to overpower both ants, flies, mosquitoes, bees, wasps, spiders, and (by accident) a chicken. My power know no bounds!

I guess as far as hunting go, I can understand why you'd want to do it - although why not just camp and go hiking instead. It seems like a needless addition to kill animals while you're out there, unless you're out there with nothing but your tent, your gun, and your matches. Then go nuts or starve sucka!
I don't care if anyone wants to hunt really. Animal ethics is something I've realised that I can never be anything other than a hypocrite about, because steak is just too damn delicious!

While I like Shawn- The one thing that I find amusing about this is how Shawn makes sure people know he's a Christian (it's annoying really) at least guys like Stone Cold don't go around saying that every chance they get and then go hunting for fun....

From Shawn's perspective, he was on the brink of death (probably was from drugs/etc) and losing everything, when an experience involving his son and cookies and not remembering it and his wife getting him to pray and go to church saved his life. I don't fault him for trying to spread the word, and its not like he is that crazy guy who goes around campuses condemning everyone to hell. He wants people to experience the positive life change he did.

Yeah, that's the one thing that makes me able to understand his religous way of thinking, he is abit over the top with it but can understand why.

I just read all this-

Hunting has gone on forever, for fun or food, whatever. So, in reality, what is everyone reallllly upset about? The fact that he killed animals OR that he took pictures with the dead animals?

Now I don't agree with killing animals for fun, and hopefully the remains served a purpose (although I don't know what bear killing does), but I think posting the pictures was a little unnecessary.

But I like the points that people put out. This is what some people do. To him, what he did was an accomplishment, and he is proud of what he did. Its fine, and we don't have to agree with it or like it. It is what it is.

But hunting itself has gone on for years. Just no need to post all the photos.

why is hbk being a hypocrite surprising to anyone?

He is not starving so that excuse for hunting is out. Exercising his right to be ontop of the food chain? Wtf? Then maybe he should put the gun down and take the bear on barehanded .

Shawn michaels is shooting animals for no reason other than shits and giggles. Excuse while i go kick his children for the same reason.
