That's ridiculous. If I were TNA, I would have Hardy drop off the World Title on iMPACT! in a Steel Cage Match to Matt Morgan, where Morgan absolutely squashes Hardy. Then we never see Hardy again. Good riddance. The guy didn't exactly pop the ratings or buyrates, either. Then let him stand alone with his criminal charges.
If not Morgan, then Rob Van Dam. If not Van Dam, bring back Kurt Angle. If not Angle, give it to fucking Brother Devon. Fuck Jeff Hardy. Yeah, don't know why I am so anti-Hardy all of sudden. I guess I'm just sick of TNA's current direction, and Jeff Hardy doing absolutely nothing to help it. |

If it's true, they have to fire him.
If it's true, they probably won't. If this were WWE, he'd be jobbing the next night in a squash or stripped without warning. TNA thinks they need "stars", and Jeff is their biggest "star" who has done this plenty of times in the past. Actually, when is Hardy's trial? Tuesday? TNA is taping the next month of TV this week. He'll probably be missing at least one Impact. Wouldn't be surprised if he's stripped or loses on Monday's taping. Again, if TNA is smart. Which they aren't. |

Agreed, Xero. They won't. It's ridiculous how TNA is operating.

The worst problem is it's fans. Fucks sake that was unbearable. Fucking ridiculous, japanese crowds are more lively than that. It's like they were in a gym with 50 people.

I don't really give a fuck. The whole angle has turned out stupid. But if you need heels to step up, you've got AJ Styles, Frankie Kazarian and even Jeff Jarrett. Yeah, the guy is old, but he's been perversely entertaining putting submission holds on kids. As a de facto leader, while they build up Styles or Kazarian, that could work nicely.

Yeah, it'd be TNA booking, but even if they turned Morgan heel on Hardy. Hogan and Bischoff choose to side with him, because they've had to screw him out of the TNA World Title so many times that they've worked out he's the better man and the marketable presence. Then you can split off Fortune from The Immortals (because Fortune hates Morgan), and let the two groups be the two groups.

I'm all for Immortal being disbanded. Just get someone with real power, tell Hogan and Bischoff that their group is done, Kurt Angle is back, and that all is now right in the world.

From PWInsider:
As mentioned prior to the TNA Final Resolution PPV, there were forces within the company pushing for TNA champion Jeff Hardy to be sent home from the company and to be stripped of the TNA championship after concern was voiced over Jeff Hardy's condition upon arrival at the PPV. After Hardy met with TNA officials, the decision was made to let Hardy work the show. In speaking to multiple sources after the show, I was told that Hardy claimed his condition was not due to any personal issues but to exhaustion from his recent TNA schedule. From what we have been able to piece together, Hardy flew from the Middle East for the trio of TNA house shows on Wednesday (a 20 hour flight), then transferred from Atlanta to North Carolina. I was told Hardy was home just one day (and, as one wrestler pointed out to me, that one day was likely dominated by Hardy's newborn baby) before flying to Michigan to make a personal appearance at a Monster Truck event in Detroit with Jesse Neal and Shannon Moore yesterday. Someone who was in attendance at the event last night noted that Hardy looked exhausted and spoke of how hard his schedule was the last few weeks, noting he had been on the road since the day after Thanksgiving. The same person also told me that Hardy was spotted returning to his room fairly early last night. Hardy flew from Michigan to Orlando earlier Sunday to the TNA PPV. Once Hardy explained his position, management backed off of alternative plans and agreed to let him work the show. Had Hardy been sent home, the plan would have been for Eric Bischoff to announce Hardy was injured on the Middle East tour. The match that would have replaced the main event would have been Matt Morgan vs. Ken Anderson vs. Jeff Jarrett. Since Samoa Joe's contract had expired, he would have been held off the PPV. There's no word on who would have ended up with the championship, but my gut is that Matt Morgan would have ended up with the belt. As I write this, Hardy is scheduled for all of this week's planned Impact tapings. |

Last nights PPV was a complete let down.
1. Beer Money vs. Ink Inc. Ink Inc. sucks because Shannon Moore is a poser... I mean come on he used to be a pretty boy in WWE for Christs sake and now he is the self proclaimed "Prince of Punk"...gay.Jessy Neal is a pretty good performer... good background and unique appearance I think he needs to dump the extra baggage and tear up the single competition scene. Beer Money is a damn good tag team. Not a big fan of there persona but they can wrestle with the best of um. 5/10 2. Tara vs. Micky James This match was pretty interesting. It reminded me of an old school Hardcore Holly match when he was defending the Hardcore championship 24/7. 6/10 3.Robbie E. vs. Jay Lethal Apart from having the most annoying persona EVER, Robbie E. is a pretty talented wrestler and mic worker. Jay Lethal is the man, he deserves to be in the TNA world heavyweight championship hunt. The match was good. Loved the Shark Boy appearance. Not sure why he came back out and pretended like he was Stone Cold Steve Austin but ya know what ever works. I like that he shut that stupid Cookie bitch up. 5.8/10 4.RVD vs. Rhyno. As always the 2 put on a decent show. Not an amazing performance by wither but a well fought bout. Until RVD botched that rolling chair throw and made Rhyno look like an idiot for just standing there and waiting to be hit. 7.2/10 5.Dougie Doug vs. AJ Styles Probably the best bout of the night. Both men put on a near flawless performance. The outside of the ring work was excellent and in the ring both men shined. I truly did not expect TNA to give the title to Williams but I am super stoked that they chose to do so. He deserves it... not to say AJ does not.... he is an amazing performer. The back and forth chants throughout the match were pretty intense. 8.6/10 6.MCMG vs. Gen ME. I was super excited to see this match and truly thought it would tear the roof down. Maybe my expectations were to high for the best tag team in current history (MCMG) and 2 intriguing competitors in Gen ME. I thought it was a pretty big let down. Not very many new moves from MCMG and the chair thing where Sabin threw it at Max Buck while Shelly was holding him.... or something... any way it was pretty lame. Not as good as it should have been. 5.5/10 7.The Pope vs. Abyss This match was lacking as well. I don't really have much to say about this match. Abyss punching through the casket and grabbing Popes cock was pretty funny considering how much it fucked up his hand. 6.1/10 8. Jeff Jarett vs. Soma Joe Easily the worst match of the night. Im not sure if Russo actually thinks that this Jarrett MMA crap is really a good angle or if he is just fucking with us. Its horrible. I pay to watch wrestling... if I wanted to wastch MMA then I would buy UFC PPV. This match was very slow and extremely boring. Soma Joe never even tapped out, or passed out. He just screamed really loudly and the reff called the match.. way to give a shitty ending to a shitty match. 2/10 9.Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Morgan. Ok, first off let me say that I am big time anti Jeff Hardy. I think he is good a jumping off tall things and breaking furniture, which I will admit is entertaining to watch but the man has no mic skills and can not wrestle worth a damn. Secondly Matt Morgan is a beast. Not the best on the mic, stumble a lot, but gets his point across. But the man can wrestle. On to the match. Yet another just OK match. Mr. Anderson was pretty entertaining and I really thought he was going to turn on Matt Morgan and join Immortal. But I was wrong. Over all it was a decent match but like the other it was lacking substance. 6.5/10 OVERALL 5.9/10 |
