Tajiri busted guys open with kicks from time to time. So did Rob Van Dam. I don't think that was the reason he was released. Kaval seems to be bored with the WWE already, and they have nothing lined up for him. Yeah, the latter is bullshit, but I do believe that this is partially Kaval's prerogative, too.
It sucks, and I wish he was staying around, but the guy was actually getting some momentum behind him on SmackDown!. He and Kofi Kingston got to go over Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger as a tag team. He needed a storyline, but he would have gone places in time. |

Another thing to consider is the fact that Dolph was out of position. The move he does is normally done to the guy in the corner, and Dolph was several inches from the corner. Basically, since he wasn't where he should have been, he may have taken the impact a lot harder. I don't know what it is, but he seems to have some problems with positioning. Like in his match with Daniel Bryan where he was way to close to the ring when DB went for the suicide dive.

I get why people would have thought Daniel Bryan's release was a work, but why might anyone think that this release is a work?

Sucks, but I don't think it's the end of the world. He could be back eventually. I feel like they probably had plans to push him on Smackdown, but focused on Del Rio and Ziggler.
Seems like he was being primed for an IC title program of some kind, but it just never happened. It's as though Ziggler just caught fire this fall, and they put their eggs in that basket. Perhaps they would have used him down the line, but in all honesty I didn't think he was going to be as successful in the WWE as Daniel Bryan or Barrett. Midcard would have been nice a la Bourne. |

Very very very sad to see him go, personally. However, it was obvious and apparent that WWE didn't know how to handle this guy. Also, he is too stiff for WWE (as others have said)....Some of the best wrestlers in the world aren't meant to be television superstars as they just don't fit the cookie cutter mold of the WWE. I wish Low Ki the best in all future endeavors and I actually mean it. |

I like how all the shit is coming up about him working too stiff even though no one has reported that Ziggler's injury had ANYTHING to do with Kaval getting released. Everyone, including professionals from his own industry, recogize Kaval as an incredible worker and someone who will have no problem getting more work somewhere else where he will be treated better and possibly make more money.
WWE is stupid. |

For him to get released the day before Christmas Eve, SOMETHING must have happened that we don't know about.

I don't blame Kaval for wanting to leave and I don't completely blame the WWE for wanting to part ways. Some incredible indie workers (such as Daniel Bryan) can convert their styles just enough to fit within the mold of a WWE television superstar...and some times guys can't (or won't)
I honestly see this as a case of HE WOULDN'T since the feeling, at least to me, is that it was a mutual parting. The WWE can't force a worker to change their style they have used for a decade but it's also a good reason to let someone go. If a worker refuses or JUST CAN'T get the WWE style down how can people blame a company that is in the business of selling a product? I blame them for not giving it more time but I also can't fault them for letting someone go that just wasn't "getting it"... He will obviously have no trouble finding work and will be able to continue the warriors way that he obviously wants. He set a path for himself and not even the super power WWE could change it. |

I think there's A LOT more money to be made with Danielson than Kaval, though. Even though he's small, he can adapt to anything and is an absolute asset to the roster as a whole. Kaval doesn't have that utility. Not a lot do or even did. |

Agreed. Danielson, you couldn't tell by just looking at him, has "it" where Kaval/Low Ki can create "it" in the ring but it is not something he just possesses.

Not that the brand split means fuck all from December through WrestleMania, but the Raw male roster is nearly double that of SmackDown at this point. Seems kinda weird.

how exactly did he show that he was bored? Did I miss something here? He seemed to show enthusiasm on Smackdown! Was he acting funny at a PPV, because I don't watch those
Out of his whole run in WWE, the best thing he had going for himself was his alignment with Lay Cool. It made him look like he belonged (plus it helped that McCool is Undertakers' wife, so he would've gotten the rub) Quote:
Seems like the WWE schedule is too much for some guys. Dixie Carter made a deal with Kurt Angle where he can take a day off whenever he's not feeling good. |

Let's see how we can say this in as few words as possible.
I don't care. Well, that was fairly succinct. However, if I may elaborate, Kaval/Low Ki is very talented, and has a style that we do not see that often in the mainstream of this industry. However, sometimes unique is not how Vince McMahon (who is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most influential person in the industry) does business. He has shown a track record of pushing bigger men, and more of the same. As a fan of WWE first and foremost and a fan of the industry secondly I am not shocked that WWE let him go. It's a shame because he has a world of talent, but his world doesn't sync up with the proverbial WWE Universe. Good luck to that talented young man, and I hope one day he can see the same (non metaphorical) heights as Rob Van Dam. |

So WWE fired Kaval and kept Alex Riley?
Sometime I wonder how WWE is still in business after making the worst decisions one after the other. It seems WWE always tries to screw up yet they are still #1 becayse others screw up way more. Kaval is one of the most talented people in the world and YES before u come in hear crying, I know that Kaval wanted to be released but lets ask why and the reason why he wanted to be released was because is WWE couldnt come up with anything for him and were treating him like garbage and Kaval knows he is one of the greatest so why stick around a place that treats you like garbage imo the only reason WWE is pushing CM Punk right now is because he doesnt do drugs and because Jeff Hardy screwed up that really made WWE push CM Punk because other wise they would have probably had no ideas for him too and he wouldve left so now WWE has just let go off one of the best talents they ever had and the funny thing is from NXT, they kept garbage like Alex Riley who lets face it is nothing in terms of wrestling OR character and they fired Kaval who is good on the mic and amazing in the ring.
The only way WWE can fix this in my eyes is to do a Daniel Bryan and swerve us by hiring Kaval back but I doubt it this time because WWE arent smart enough to do it. I still wonder how WWE keeps up as number one in the business by making bad decisions every time. What do u think? |
