They did pretty much that after he was eliminated from S1 of NXT. If I recall it got a pretty good reaction.

In fact I'd go as far as to say that they intended to fued him with Mix/Cole straight after NXT but then the Nexus angle came along and that idea got laid to rest. Then of course he was "released" and brought back in to fue with Miz minus the Cole angle.

But you're right, if they did the Bryan/Cole stuff it'd go over pretty well.

Basically, my story: people on TPWW are saying DB isn't over, then I see people getting excited about Nash VS Show. Then my comments.

I still don't why they dropped the Bryan/Cole feud. While Cole rips into everyone, he goes out of his way for Daniel Bryan.

I still think the Riley feud could fly. Riley needs a spin off feud, and Bryan makes sense. Having him interfere this past Monday could open the door for Riley to get going against Bryan for the US belt at Mania.

I think both Riley and Bryan could use the rub of having a good Mania match, especially if it's the opener.
