Reached retirement, 44 (I think) wins and 5 loses, I'm fairly happy with that. Had a bad run where I lost 3 on the trot in the early - mid 20 wins stage but I still managed to make the HOF and win 3 consecutive Pride tournaments while making a bunch of LHW title defenses. My final fight was winning my 3rd Pride GP in a row, not a bad way to retire.

I'm going to try a new career on the hardest difficulty next week some time and I expect it to last longer with more fights going the distance.

Oh and while I am glad they have addressed the submission thing with the mini game it takes you out of the game a little. Cant have it all I guess though, and this is better than being taken down and subbed in 30 seconds time after time in title defenses like I was in 2010.

finished 45-3, moved down to LHW for the last 5-6 fights of my career, which was pretty cool. Beat Little Nog to get a title shot, beat Shogun for the belt, couple of defenses and finished up with a retirement fight against Royce Gracie of all people, which I thought was pretty bad ass (although I wish I'd have had my last fight in the UFC to hear the "retirement commentary".

Also, love hearing Buffer announce "former heavyweight champion of Pride, former UFC heavyweight champion, current reigning, defending UFC light-heavyweight champion of the world, this man is a legendary UFC hall of fame octagon warrior", takes an age. Wish I'd have gone down to LHW maybe a year before though and added "former middleweight champion of Pride" to that lot also. Gonna do another career mode at some point with a lightweight and basically try and make my intro as long as possible.

have probably had more fun with my new lightweight fighter in the first 4-5 fights than my entire other career with "me" strictly because of flying knees

So is there any reason as to why my downloadable content isn't working? Got the ultimate fight: knockout pack with the game, and it's downloaded and sitting with the other UFC stuff but when I try to play them it says I need to download them

Shitty. Seems like more and more it's becoming a sure thing that THQ is going under.

Haven't actually checked out any of the dlc stuff. What's in it?

Had a look at the fighter packs... not very impressive. Hate that Overeem was a facebook only thing, as I don't use it.

there was a well know/acknowledged "problem" with the knockout package/boost thing, you have to do things in a specific order for it to work
