I looked up the value of the paint on some site RoXer showed me, and I actually think I got a pretty good deal. It's worth like 1 scrap + .33 refined I think is what I saw on there.

Also, why would the revolver go up in value? Can't people still get those from crates? Or is there such a thing as vintage strange weapons?

I believe that crate has been discontinued now, so it's only a matter of time until they're all gone.

He was using cloak and dagger and had the saharan spy set. Also had a plant on our team as I found out. I watched him just kill the guy and then continue on with the rest of our team.

I had not played TF till like 4 days ago and only knew the Heavy.

lol quit crying. I don't get killed by spies nearly as much as you seem to. I know you're new and all. But it's a very counter-able class. Spies get double the points for backstabs because they are harder to play effectively. You should play on a server that allows replays and watch to see how you get killed sometimes. I'm sure there are a lot of spies that sit in corners, but the -good- ones are the ones actually helping their team win by being active.

Or if you're getting killed a bunch by some fag who is corner camping, then quit and find a new server. The stat tracking isn't like CoD where it records every time you lose a game by quitting, or anything. I quit all the time if I'm fed up with my team/my sucking. Also, try some new maps if you're getting worked on others. I find that I tend to do better on certain maps as certain classes.

Also, the flamethrower isn't without fault. I notice it tends to skip places if you're moving it too fast sometimes. And all it takes is for a spy to predict that you're going to stop blasting it and turn away, and he has to just be running at you coming out of cloak, and can kill you in a split second.

So go a different way. Don't keep running that way thinking you're going to 'get him this time', only to get killed over and over. He's probably cracking up the moment he dominates you. Go a different way, or tell your team what he's doing so they can help kill him.

Yeah Fangel I play Heavy as my main class and spies are rarely a problem unless they are ridiculously good. As a Heavy you'll always get killed a couple times at least by spies and snipers, it's inevitable. But once you get really good, you become less and less a victim. My kill/death ratio is usually about 5/1 on Heavy now. Sometimes I have a ridiculous series where I'll have like 130 kills with like 10 or 12 deaths. It gets easier.
