It's weird though. You made the rules of how you consider a team a legit team. Then you broke them because you don't consider JeriShow a team but you admit that your rules do actually make JeriShow a tag team despite not considering them a tag team. lol

I GET it.
Still... You've said you don't consider JeriShow a tag team but you also admitted that by your rules, they are a tag team. They're YOUR rules. Why make them to admittedly break them? lol |

If you only apply the two rules listed earlier they are a tag team. I do not take into account however, tag teams that were created for the purpose of an angle.
Also: Win if you can, lose if you must, but ALWAYS cheat. Rules were made to be broken. |

I think all these thrown together teams should still be put up in the polls. Obviously minor alliances and such shouldn't really be considered, but if they were considered a tag team by WWE (edit:and all organisations as well for that matter), regardless of how we view them, they should be used.

I agree. For purposes of the poll, let anyone who teamed together on a remotely regular basis in.

I also definitely consider Owen and The Bulldog to have been more of a legit team than Owen and Yokozuna.

Ehh I guess I have to agree to an extent. I do believe the guidelines for the most part hold true, but more to older generations. Tag team wrestling is a farce nowadays.

Longevity I've also underestimated in what I determine to be a tag team.

Rated RKO, Head Cheese, Two Man Power Trip, Mega Powers, Brothers of Destruction are just a small sample of "two guys thrown together" teams that will likely get a bunch of votes.

I would like to request Ricky Steamboat and Shane Douglas' presence in this. They will likely get destroyed but they were awesome.

I was a fan of Kingston but after his main event push died my enthusiasm slowly dwindled (I still have foolish hope) but any way Londrick wins for me Kofi and R-truth just come across as two totally separate personalities neither complements the other and being black guys is the only thing they have in common.

I would just like to point out the the Mounties and Strike Force both had matching gear and a team name .... and both sucked.
So it would seem by contrapositive logic, that one does not need matching gear or a team name in order to be an entertaining tag team. With that said, creative could at least start doing their jobs and try to come up with team names for these guys. I recall from London and Kendrick's shoot that they wanted the team name to be the Hooligans. But this was after they started smoking ... so who knows. |

....
![]() The Quebecers were a heel professional wrestling tag team in the World Wrestling Federation from 1993 to 1994 and again in 1998 that consisted of Jacques Rougeau and Pierre (Carl Ouellet). They also worked as the Amazing French Canadians in World Championship Wrestling from 1996 to 1997. |

I think what he's trying to say is "The Mounties" is what he called "The Quebecers".

Ken Shamrock and Big Bossman were part of a stable and held the titles for a few months, does that qualify?

Disco Inferno and Alex Wright for the win here. Or how about Norton and Steiner, they were kind of an NWO tag team, right? I also hate the thrown together tag teams, and especially the "Token Black Guy Team vs. Token Latino Guy Team for the titles!"...voted for London and Kendrick, they had a sweet valet/manager in Ashley Massaro too if I remember correctly. Always liked "The" Brian Kendrick, appreciated his cocky-rockstar-esque strut and whatnot. On a side note, anyone else think he looks strikingly like Kurt Cobain?

Who are the two who voted Kingston and Truth? Would enjoy hearing their argument, from a curiosity standpoint I suppose.

The Quebecers > R-Truth and Kofi based solely on their entrance theme alone heh.

lol...the "define wrestler" argument is now "define tag team." let me make it simple: if they ever tagged together theyre a tag team. doesnt mean they were a good one.

Even if this Better Tag Team is not Juan approved, I think you should still incorporate the previous Better Tag Team history into it.

No rush really, just had the idea for a while and there didn't seem to be a lot going on in the forums lately, that's all.
