It actually doesn't bother me anymore, though, since they are going the multiple/altered timeline route. That opens doors for tons of things to happen/not happen- such as everyone's contentions and confusions of exactly when and how the Weapon X project happened. Hell, Deathstrike may never get made and try to kill him this time around, and Stryker (or someone else) straght up tries to clone him and makes X-23. Hopefully, though, this will completely retcon that goddamn "adamantium bullet" bullshit. Still doesn't fix Wolverine/Sabertooth being all buddy-buddy instead of Logan/Dog-that-at-that-point-wasn't-established-to-be-seperate-from-Sabertooth mess from Origins, but it would be a step in the right direction. |

There also was a sentinel in the training program during XMen 3 ... so they do exist in those flicks, just not as early IGuess

I'm only posting- and repping accordingly- for that line from the cartoon.
Speaking of Morph, I always foumd it funny when he tells Gambit that he'd sneak into the Mutant Control Agency "like dis, eh?" as he changes his face and voice to Gambit... then in the next episode, for one shot when Morph opens a door, and suddenly it's Gambit's silhouette, implying he kept his promise. Gorram, I love that cartoon. |

I wondered the same thing with Shadowcat. Anyways, this film was awesome! The future Sentinels were terrifying, and the film does an incredible job of tying all the movies together and trying to retcon stuff like
SPOILER: show End-credit scene has me excited, and rumours are that X-Men: Apocalypse will feature the "First Class" cast. I kinda want it to somehow blend both teams again, perhaps have all the "future" members with grown-up versions of the prequel members. |

Also, despite how god-awful the sneak pictures were that we saw, Quicksilver was actually done pretty well in this film. I'm interested now to see the Avenger's interpretation.

Man...
My full write up will be Tuesday, possibly on my blog. I can say this much; like Star Trek, this is an in continuity reboot. And there's a shit of debate for the future of storylines coming. This movie was what the series needed. |

And by the way; Kitty could do something like that in the comics, and even if not - secondary powers emerging isn't unheard of for mutants.

As far as I knew she could only phase out of sync with the earths rotation effectively holding her in one spot while the earth moves around her.

Ok so I'll give more later. Great film I liked it a lot.
If you read some of my earlier questions going into the film they aren't answered by the deflection is handled in a way I didn't even realize until after the film. The future action was amazing. |

I hope she factors into the X Force film.
Gotta feel like the next movie will take the FIRST CLASS cast. Maybe Xforce takes sunspot, warpath and blink. would be cool. |

The next is confirmed to be the First Class cast, and there's a huge opening for the Future Cast as well. As I said I have a lot to say about this later on.
Thank you, Bryan Singer. |

Blink was great. Her powers looked amazing on the screen. Sunspot/Iceman were fun to see, but I was just amazed at how effective they managed to make a teleport. I truly hope they find a way to bring somebody like elixr into the mix. They need a healer on the team. Bishop was somewhat meh to me. The coolest thing he did was die. Wanna see more Rouge, especially if we're getting more Gambit.

This was a really really good movie. James McAvoy was sensational. I know he is already close to be being a top star, but I feel this puts him over the top. This was his movie.
I hope whenever the Wolverine movie comes out it as The X-Men in it. |

Quicksilver was, far and away, the most entertaining part of a very entertaining movie. I loved the flick and this was the first time I ever really "got" Quicksilver. I always thought he was a lame Flash ripoff shoehorned into Magneto's backstory, but this was a tremendous interpretation of that character.
Plot holes abound, but I really don't care. I wanted to be entertained. I wanted X-Men vs. Sentinels. I wanted an effort made to address the frakking chaos that surrounds those movies' continuity. All of these were met and exceeded. Very well done flick. |

X-Men: Days of Future Past is pretty terrific tbh.
Quicksilver was one of the film's highlights surprisingly. I also did not expect it to share some similar themes to Captain America: The Winter Soldier. And though it is already known and probably goes without saying: Magneto really is pretty badass. |

And I need something more than "a quick 12 second scene at the end of the credits of X3 explains it all".

Really fun movie though. Loves me some anything X-Men and this does the trick.
I thought Blink was Psylocke for a quick second in the beginning. Has she been in any of them? I want to say no but I'm not entirely sure. James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender have really great "chemistry". Still. I dig it. And it's nice to know that whatever happens in the next 2 or 3 movies, we get a big happy ending with a lot of the important fan favorites surviving and teaching at the academy.

Psylocke was in 3. She was one of the cannon fodder Morlocks. Huge waste of her character.
