Has the "specialness" of Daniel Bryan being back worn off already? I feel like it has. He just seems like "some guy" now. Especially after seeing video of him jobbing clean to Rusev. lol

I feel exactly the same way. It was surreal when they announced he was coming back, and now it's surreal how little I care. He's still really good, but them using him a player/coach is just not where he could be.

Sonya Deville is a great looking girl, but she feels like she's way low priority. I think they rushed her up because they needed bodies and they knew Ronda was going to be coming in, but she doesn't feel embedded enough to get away with basically being a not-as-legit Ronda.

Well here's the thing. Unlike most guys, after his loss he came out and gave a mission statement (honestly, nobody ever does this). It wasn't a shitty storyline promo. He said "Just being back isn't good enough, I want the WWE title" and then he squashed Big Cass (it wasn't a match but it was a squash).


I mean, I'm not overly confident, but they never booked Bryan that strong EVER even when he was champ lol. He killed Cass. I'm hoping that's the end of their feud. I know it's partially because of Cass's heat, but it could play to Bryan's advantage.


...until he jobs to Jinder even though they aren't on the same show.

I kinda get the feeling WWE doesn't think as highly of Cass as people are afraid they do. So squashing Cass doesn't really say much. Guy seems like a jobber.

If the heat over the deal with the midget is legit, that’s why he got his shit pushed in by Bryan. Their programme looked like it was set to continue (and it still could) but I think they’ve “cut bait” as a punishment.

I fear they have cut bait like they did with Baron Corbin. Cass will slip on a few banana peels and then Vince will remember how tall he is and that he loves Trump and he'll get a push. I'm preparing for it in case it happens.

I've just stumbled across the US Title Dark Match that wasn't supposed to be announced on SmackDown but its announcement was accidentally kept in the final cut of the show (for some of us it seems).



As you can see, it looks like Jeff's brought back the facepaint.
