Yup, great match all around. Finish was exceptional.

I love the weird pinning sequences these guys seem to work into there matches, always so smooth.

I loved the main event. But the ending was awkward.

Doing an angle that has the entire crowd chanting for Ibushi and not delivering means it should’ve been the semi-main.

I understand the appeal with the star power in the match and the carnage the match creates but still think the Pillars should go on last.

Jade losing the title is something that should have had a proper build. Statlander is a good choice, but they've undermined jade's reign for a cheap surprise return pop. Should have been a much bigger moment.

  • Battle Royal: pretty good, I like battle royals
  • Cole vs. Jericho: not good... weird ending also
  • FTR vs. Jarrett & Lethal: pretty good

I’m glad Kris has the belt. Jade’s been issuing open challenges a lot in the last few months so it finally bit her in the ass.

Traditional wrestling booking would be that their match has an actual build to it, can’t argue that. But I do question if anyone would’ve bought a show specifically to see Jade finally lose. I somewhat doubt it.

Just hope Kris can stay healthy now.

Its not a traditional build but I think we all knew it was coming. The upside for me is it was a "moment" and it broke the mould of what feels like title changes in AEW being coronation ceremonies because we didnt have the build. We have seen an out of the blue title change can be awesome up to and including the world title.

My one criticism of it is that I feel like they could have done more of the open challenge stuff in the weeks leading up and played harder into the Jades pride caused her downfall. Its kinda feels like thats where the announce crew didnt play it up.

I dont find Cole entertaining, but I see why they would give him a title feud on paper. I assume the mic work will be good but I'm not excited about it.

Cole vs Jericho easily worst match of the night. Just reinforces that Jericho’s old/on his last legs, and I think it kills any chance of Cole being more than a credible midcarder. Just a stinker of a performance.
