wake's doing fine, its the shitty run support he's getting that sux. Mostly due to going up against every lefty in creation, gawd knows the sox can't hit leftys.

What is Foulke's deal? He pitches good a few games then gets absolutely slammed every couple of outings. Oh well though, Schilling pitched great and its always a good day when the Red Sox beat the Yanks

The Red Sox started the Twins run, and I was there. Johan vs. Schilling, great pitching, tied at one run a piece. Kevin Garnett in the first row, Erasmus James somewhere else. What was it, bottom of the 13th? Bases loaded, rookie Jason Kubel comes up and hits the game winning grand slam. Then we went on to sweep the Sox, go 16-2 in Interleague, and are now atop the wildcard. This is going to be a fun fall at school again, even if we don't make the playoffs we will definately get some games on TV and I don't see any of the three (four) wildcard teams falling off.

Detroit can't have much higher of a payroll though can it? I guess they did bring in some big names like Ordonez, I-Rod, Guillen, Polanco, but the core of their team is Verlander, Bonderman, and the rest of those amazing pitchers, all of which must still be on pretty cheap contracts.
