Sweet, it's out. All this time I was worried about all these awesome games coming out while I was dead broke, and I just found out that my brother bought most of the games I was looking forward to having. \m/

Now I only need to pick up GH2 and Smackdown 07. I love my brother so much.

I don't know. I guess it's a good update but I really am disappointed in the soundtrack. Only song I want to play is Freebird and the fact I tried to go through Expert mode was a horrible mistake. Psychobilly Freakout is the craziest song in this game. Makes me want to break the delicious red controller.

Yeah, I'm not really feeling any of the songs like I did in GH 1. None of them really stick out as just extremely fun to play.. like they just went for challenging with this one, and not just fun songs. Some of the songs just flat out suck too..

I'm on like the 3rd or 4th category, and failed halfway through War Pigs which is a fucking long song, and I am a dumbass and did Expert first.

I don't think the Shadows Fall and All That Remains songs are actual covers, but just the guitars were amplified, because the vocals and drums are really quiet in the songs, and they sound identical to the real song, not like a good cover.

I agree about the song list not being as good, maybe I expected more of an upgrade from GH1.

I do like the ability to just hear the guitar though.

The song list is growing on me, slowly but surely. I think it's partially due to the fact that they made hammer-ons and pull-offs a lot easier to do in GH2, so it makes the songs a lot more fun to play. There are some that have entire huge sections of just those notes, and it's just a lot more fun to be able to hammer-on/pull-off the entire thing.

YEAH

I love this game, it's stupidly amazing. People have said the tracklist isn't as great, but I love it. Alot of the songs are my kind of music, so I'm really enjoying it.

Just wish they would hurry up with the 360 version, it's a pain in the arse using my PS2 again.
