I would mark the fuck out for Vince vs. RVD in an Extreme Rules Match, where the Originals just beat the shit out of Vince, and RVD then gets the pin and wins back the belt.

If Vince was willing to get his ass kicked good by the them, and The Undertaker was willing to stop being a pussy bitch because he doesn't like The Sandman, it would get RVD, Sabu, Tommy Dreamer and The Sandman over as legitimate WWE Superstars (moreso).

I think it's got real good potential. They've got the New Breed kind of mixed with the Corperation running ECW at the moment - have that build up to the Originals regaining control of ECW. People love that stuff.

Vince always surprises me, just as you think people aren't going to boo him anymore he always finds a new way for people to hate him.

I disagree, i think MVP held his own in that match, infact in all the matches they had he did well enough to not be carried, but you're making it sound like he'll do shit in future.

It would be better to say 'MVP upped his game for Benoit' rather than Benoit carried him.

You see my point though. They are vehicles for MVP to good, to look like a star, somehting that he is not. I'm sorry, but I think you're wrong. Like not just having your own opinion "wrong", but being blind to the facts wrong.

John Cena was a forced star. He got win after unneccesary win. MVP isn't winning matches he doesn't need to. He's not being given Championships too early. I didn't want to see MVP win the US Title, and he didn't. What they are letting MVP do is become a star on his own. They are presenting his case for being a future star, and he is doing that well. He's convincing us "sheep", after all.

I still fail to see how Benoit has been carrying MVP. Benoit is great, no doubt about it, but he's only been co-operating with MVP. He hasn't done anything too incredible. Fuck, he hasn't even done anything subtle. I don't want to say he is phoning it in, but his performances haven't been the best of his career or anything. MVP is doing the majority of the leg work in this feud, and he's doing it well.

Management seems impressed, I am impressed, most people here, except the bitter ones who don't want another name to be added to the good list, possibly because they complained about this "suddenly" good guy when he first showed up, are impressed. I guess it's OK not to be, but being in such a small minority must say something, mustn't it? Surely the world can't be wrong all the time?

MVP is not forced, and he's not being carried. To say he is just being blindly on Benoit's dick. It can work both ways. No one has said Benoit owes MVP for these matches, but saying MVP owes Benoit is just ridiculous. It takes two to tango, and really have great matches. I'd say they are both pulling their weight.

A better line of doubt in MVP's abilities to take would be "Is he just working well with Benoit because he is a fan of Benoit's?" To that, I personally don't know the answer. I've heard his DSW work was good, so that's a good sign. The guy did call his Crossface in DSW "Tribute To Benoit", though.

It seems really unprofessional, guys stepping up their game because they want to have potential classics with their opponents, but I think that is the only reason Batista vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania was any good. Batista has gone on record saying his dream match was with The Undertaker, at WrestleMania, in Hell in a Cell. I think that is why Batista kicked it up a gear in his program with The Undertaker. It's also why I think their match tonight won't live up to Mania. Batista vs. Taker at Mania filled two of Dave's criteria; Batista vs. Taker at Backlash in Last Man Standing only fills one. LMS could be compared to HIAC, as there are no rules in either one, but I think there is less romance in this one for Dave.

The same could go for MVP when he stops working with Benoit. Sure, he could be good when he needs to be, but will he have the motivation to bring his A-game to matches with guys like Carlito, instead of guys he admires, like Chris Benoit?
