There really isn't a good way for the Taker/Kane match to end at Mania. Kane goes over, takes Taker's ability to put over other guys away a little. Taker goes over, kills Kane's cred.

The feud itself should last until next Mania, not a hugely continuous thing, but at joint PPV's there should be something.

I want Taker to be able to make a farewell tour as the dead man, putting over guys like Cena. Then at Mania Kane should end his streak after joint PPV confrontations going back and fourth.

Ok, correction I think Taker and Kane need to go to a time limit draw where neither can get anything more than like a count close to two, but not actually two. Makes both look unstoppable, saves Takers turn, puts Kane over and would lead to a rematch next year at mania where Kane ends Taker's streak.

I liked RAW tonight but there a few things that piss me off

*What the **** is Flair now kissing Triple H's ass 99.9% of the time. I mean did anyone see him during the promo nodding his head and smiling and saying shit. triple H must feel proud, and should be greatful since he's only done half the stuff that Ric Flair has done.

*The fact Foley took a beating from Evolution and was taken out on stretcher. Yet this is the same man who got thrown off a cell a few years ago and got up? LOGIC!

*Vince/Eric was horrible but what did you expect?

I remember the week before Summerslam 94 when it was Real Taker vs. Fake Taker. Fake Taker was in the Heartbreak Hotel and then the lights went out and the gong hit. Then the real Undertaker's voice came over the loudspeakers, saying it was time for the Undertaker to rise. I bet the same will happen in the few weeks remaining.

I didn't think RAW was all that great this week, it was kinda flat to me, except the ending, which was good.

The Benoit-HBK-HHH hype was horrible IMO. First you had the boring HHH promo. Seriously I know people rag on the guy excessively, but if he walked into a promoters office and cut that promo trying to get work, he'd never get booked anywhere where people can understand the English language. One of his typical promos that could be summed up in 3 minutes, but instead goes on for 12 minutes.

Next problem, HBK didn't tap, or at least I didn't see it happen. Benoit has already had to get laid out on two separate occasions to HBK's move, and each time he had to sell it like a champ, but Benoit gets his finish on Michaels, and HBK's up in like 30 seconds as though nothing happened.

Next problem was that while on SD, the WWE title match seems like a huge deal, on RAW the World Title match seems like an after thought. The only saving grace was that Benoit made Batista tap, which was good, but Batista hasn't really been established enough to make that win all that important. Beyond that making Benoit look strong against the main eventers should be the goal at this point, instead of making him look better than mid-carders.

Womens title match was pretty sloppy, and to be frank I dont understand why they had Victoria win now and not at Mania. I'm guessing they go with Molly vs Victoria at Mania since Victoria didn't pin Molly (we'll likely get Molly vs Lita next week in a #1 contenders match), but why not save the big win for Mania? Wierd. Still, Victoria deserved the win. Jazz got sqaushed, which was odd as well.

Venis-Orton was good, I like these matches where Orton shows some dominance instead of just going back and forth. I mean this wasn't a squash by any means, but it was a decisive win for Orton, which is a good thing IMO.

Trish-Christian stuff was pretty good, Christian is awesome, and I cant wait to see how he does now that he's actually getting a push. Sweet ass clothesline on Trish.

RVD-BT kinda need a program fast. This seems to be one of those deals where they are going to throw together a match a week before Mania and blowoff the fued at Mania, if at all. Once again no Dudleys on RAW, so I'm assuming thats an angle, but I dont see where its all leading. I noticed they made a deal out of La Res getting screwed in the match, so maybe we get a rematch at Mania, which would be alright I guess. Might be an idea to have the Dudleys do a run-in at Mania and start a heel turn for not being on RAW for so long or whatever.

Interesting that throughout the show they actually pushed Eric Bischoff's accomplishments. Not sure if thats going anywhere, or just being done for the DVD purposes, but it seemed wierd that they were actually pushing WCW and Bischoff so much. Too bad someone didn't use this logic two years ago, but alas that was not to be. I blame the internet!

Foley's interview I liked. It wasn't a blow away interview, but he said a few key things, which will set up for Rock's return and make it more emotional. Usually when Rock comes back, its all comedy, Foley set the stage for him to try to get back to doing a serious wrestling angle.

I thought Vince's announcements were rushed and came off flat. I just dont think they did enough on RAW and SD to make people think the interpromotional matches couldn't happen, which would have made Vince's announcement a bigger deal. But they've never really said that, and I think the TV audience was pretty sure these matches were going to be on the card.

I thought adding Austin was good, and the finish was pretty cool seeing Lesnar F-5 Austin. I hope this leads somewhere long term between Austin and Lesnar.

Match with Vince and Eric was a huge waste of time, and really went nowhere. At least if they would have made it clear it was a big ruse to set-up Austin that would have been alright, but they didbn't, so it just seemed like a waste of 5 minutes. I hope they dont even consider putting this match at Mania.

RAW wasn't bad by any means, but I didn't feel it was a great show, which they kinda need going into Mania.

So was the Vince/Eric match a ploy to get Austin attacked by Brock? Or just a coincidence? Or does it even really matter? I only ask because Vince was a semi-face tonight, it seemed to me anyway.

I thought it was a really good build to the Mania match. I think HBK one-upping Benoit is just to build to their match in Edmonton, and if it isn't, then and only then it is bad booking.

austin getting F5ed was a definite mark out moment, and I would like to see these two go at it maybe Summerslam.

Expect Bischoff and Vince to officialy go at at Wrestlemania.

That clothesline Christian gave Trish was BRUTAL.

I wouldn't be suprised to see Lita face Victoria at Mania and winning.

So now, are Bischoff and Austin going to be friends, and are they going to try to make Eric a face? I think they should, to balance off Paul being a heel on Smackdown.

I sit in my chair and watch Raw.

I liked the idea of Victoria winning. I was glad Victoria won.

Orotn and Venis put on a nice match.

Rest of Raw.. who cares.

And that whole diva evening gown match at Mania tween Gayda and Stacy vs. Torrie and Sable? Really... I mean really who gives a crap? Who cares that this match is happening. I see this match happening for one reason and one reason only... someone is gonna flash the crowd. That's it.

Benoit beats Batista... big whoop. I wasn't too impressed with Raw at all and that whole Vince/Bischoff thing... sucked.

The Brock bit was a nice touch though. However, a n ice ending doesn't make up for the rest of the show being mostly...Blah...

Good thing I didn't cancel out on the birthday party to wait for The Rock's return. I managed to catch the rest of RAW when I got home, and I still think seeing Lesnar F5ing Austin was meh at best.

I will be waiting for Rocky next week though, in a more serious angle with Foley and Orton, like Cynick said

The show wasn't really blah IMO. The Foley Promo was solid, it wasn't supposed to be over the top. Orton looked really good against Venis, Benoit vs. Batista did what it set out to do, which was make Benoit look like a machine. I marked like a bitch for Benoit getting Michaels, and for Benoit being ballsy enough to take on Evolution 4-on-1. Booker and RVD vs. La Resistance was good. The only thing that annoyed me was that HHH promo, but whatever, he's the Champion, gotsta work the crowd. And LOL at Christian.

The ending aside from Lesnar coming in out of nowhere was pretty lame, you can't just throw out 3 announcements for the biggest show of the year like that, but that wasn't enough to mar an entire show of solid booking (well IMO solid booking).
