Why the fuck have they put in days off in the LCS when they aren't even changing cities? Has it always been that way? Just seems a bit unnecessary.....it's bad enough that next year's WS is guaranteed to end no sooner than November 5th.

I believe it's because when it gets down the games that "could clinch" a series MLB wants one game per night so it alternates nl/al and there is a game in primetime everynight on a weeknight.

yeah, I could be wrong but I think the ad buy rates are tied into the viewing rates, I'm not sure if it's retro on the current series or directly effects the next year.

Like I think the NFL bases their buyrates off the viewing from the previous year.

MATT STAIRS: Definitely the top. I think it's one of those things where you've been here for a month, you want to get that one big hit where you feel like you're part of the team. Not that I don't feel like I'm part of the team, by no means, but when you get that nice celebration coming into the dugout and you're getting your ass hammered by guys, it's no better feeling than to have that done. It's definitely the top pinch-hit home run of my career.
