This is pretty intense, if I have to say so myself.

The learning curve is definitely really high compared to anything I've played recently, not that that's a bad thing.

Just play through the training mode, an easy achievement and it tells you all you need to know.

The ground game is awsome once you get the hang of it. The tip I can give is to make very small movements with the right stick so that you can make good progress on the ground and use a lot of punches between movements.

Apparently they were having problems with fluidity of the game play when they tried to make fighters right or left side dominant - probably forced them to almost double the amount of programming necessary, so they made everyone righties. A minor issue considering how epic the game really is.

Fuck. 3 things pissing me off rn:

1. I did the tutorial (and thanks to unskippable demos it takes FOREVER) and no achievement. Fuck.

2. Playing in an exhibition I can KO anyone with anyone. In career mode, I can unleash a 25 hit combo, counter punch all day long, ground and pound like my life depends on it and still not even get a TKO. FUCK.

3. I cannot for the life of me submit people. I get the attempt going, I get full extension and then they escape. Every time. Only managed to submit Mir with Lesnar ( ) once.

Please to be offering advice.

Focus more time than anything on sparing. Also whenever there is an opportunity to go to any of the camps do it. It's gonna be a time consuming thing no matter what.

For the tutorial, you're messing up bad somewhere. There is no way you went through the WHOLE tutorial. I just did it last night and I got an achievement. Go through it again.

Also, you can press start during the demo or whenever and choose the "Next" option. Then again, I don't think I did this the first time; I figured it out going through a couple random tutorials a second time.

Haven't got the game yet, but I'm having the exact same problem with the demo. I'd also like some advice on this.

In training it says to tap one of the face buttons or rotate the right stick, and it works in training. But once it comes to a match it never works

remeber to play as it was real. dont even attempt subs with guys like rampage, hendo and chuck unless your oppenent is beat to hell, and even then your better off pounding them out. use guys with good bjj and high sub ratings and work the body to kill their stamina. im more of a ground n pound fighter but that should work.

how far along are you in career? my guy is a kickboxer/wrestler and i put most training on strenth at first and im a level 3 kickboxer. i ko everyone. again just like submissions...work the body! be patcient and use leg and body kicks, once they are winded and drop their hands go in for the kill

Only fight that ive had that lasted almost the distance was against Lesnar for the belt in career mode. Went all the way to the fourth round and then I laid him out flat with a elbow followed by superman punch...then hovered over him and punched him till the ref stopped it.
