An unaccomplished guy like Miz standing in the ring next to a guy like Danielson and crushing him in the charisma department is definite a wake up call.

On the other hand, this is our first real taste of him in WWE, whereas we've had some decent exposure to the Miz.

honestly, I wouldn't find it hard to believe that he didn't cut too many promos with all these Indy promotions. Other then the genric "I'm going to beat you" promo

Pretty much. Even in ROH, there weren't real promos... You get your general backstage stuff where they talk about feuds, and what not, but those aren't the same type of promos.

Just like indy wrestling is different than the WWE style, indy promos tend to be of a different style as well.
