Peeps forget how supportive the Kings fans were too. I'm definitely cheering for Seattle to get a team, just think it would suck if it came at the expense of Kings fans.

I'm having trouble playing "Where's Spike Lee?" tonight. Which is the adult version of "Where's Waldo?" I was under the impression he's got his own seat on the team plane since all he's been doing nowadays is attending Knicks games.

Stern would flip if the Pacers and Grizz got to the Finals. ESPN would go out of their way to make Marc Gasol seem like the greatest player since they made Kendrick Perkins seem like the greatest player after his trade.

NBA owners voted to keep the Kings in Sacramento at least for the near future and rejected the extra $100 million offered by the Seattle group. Still need to find a new majority owner since the Maloofs refuse to sell their share to the Sacramento group.

Too big of a market tv-wise to just drop. They'd lose all of Canada and whatever sponsors/ad revenues they bring in.

Moving Vancouver over a decade was a lot easier since that team was only a few years old and loosing them didn't impact their overall Canadian market. The Grizzles have been in Memphis a lot longer than they ever were in Vancouver.

San Antonio is always a ratings black hole when they get to the fnls but they have star players.

Doubt it would go lower than what the Spurs vs Cavs did since at least Indiana is a decent basketball market. Not even Lebron and all his early hype as the next Jordan-like mega star saved that series ratings-wise.

Golden State has Curry and no one else on that team (Unless David Lee comesback) that people have heard of. Memphis has Randolph, Gasol, and Allen.

Call me crazy, but I think the Pacers could make the conference finals a hell of a lot more interesting for the Heat. The Heat had a losing regular season record to the Pacers and Indiana plays that same sort of physical style the Bulls play that gets under the Heats skin. Really hoping for that matchup even though I think Knicks fans are the best in basketball and MSG would probably be a better crowd atmosphere.

The only thing about the Warriors making the Finals would be the SF/Oakland area making the last 3 pro championships (World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Finals). Technically probably not an accomplishment since they arent the same city but still. Would have been super crazy had the Sharks not got bounced from the NHL Playoffs.
