I dont think anybody expected the Nucks to sweep the Hawks...including the Nucks, they didn't even show up. Could have been double digits for the Hawks if not for a few great Lou saves.

This was shit. Owners probably told them to toss it so they could get the revenue for another home game.

Down 3-1 into a 5-4 OT win for the Bruins and a tied series going back to Beantown.

The commentators were right after the 1st period where Montreal tried to go for the TKO in the first but Bruins held it to a 1-0 and then when it was 3-1, the Bruins didn't panic like they typically do in the past.

this current "core" team...never has a Canucks team frustrated me this much.

They had some bad team, but the effort was there. WTF is going here? This is night and day. They're not even trying. Lou is sucking some serious ass right now, but the guys in front are not helping at all. No one...not 1 single Canuck did anything this period.

Alain Vigneult...this is your last year. You should have pulled Lou after the 2nd goal. it was 20 something seconds after the 1st goal. You should have pulled Lou in game 4 after the 3rd goal which was like 15 seconds after the 2nd goal. Schiender is hungry, he has everything to prove. Lou is happy collecting his 10 mill, yet every year he tells the press "this year I feel better than ever"

I just don't get it.

How a team can be so dominating, can do every little thing right, win every little battle....then the next night look like a 1978 Pinto with 500,000KM

I can personally deal with the loses...as long as the effort is there.

I hope to God that Gillis can find someone willing to take Lou in the offseason. Give Schinds the chance. He's better for the salary cap, and he's still hungry.

Thats actually something to think about...

If Canadian born players collectively decided to play exclusively on Canadian teams...we'd never lose the cup.

They're all millionaire, so really, whats the difference between 2 million and 3 million per year? you're still gonna live like a hog in shit.

Personally, If I were a NHLer and had to chose 500k to play on a Canadian team, or 1 mill to play on an American team...I'd pick Canada every time...but what do I know, I'm just an arm chair analyst
