Suggs played but not at the level anyone would expect from him if he hadn't injured his achilles. I expect 30 sacks between him and Dumervil, which is almost as many as the team had as a whole last year. Getting qb pressure will set the rest of the defense up for more success.

As for the players that left, ed reed was banged up and could not tackle properly because of his shoulder. They might miss Pollard but he had a penchant for getting beat too often to make up for his big hits. Dumervil is miles better than Paul Kruger and his crazy contract..biggest loss was ellerbe, he had a lot of potential but his asking price was too much for that potential and they've let better players walk on defense before without missing much of a beat..

Suggs had 14 in 2011 dumervil had 11 last year. My hope is it'll be impossible to block both of them, and if they do then Ngata can come at the qb up the middle.

Welker has never won a title in the first place and the Pats last Super Bowl loss was partially blamed on him dropping the ball at the end, so the joke was with both of them on the same team how can we lose.

The nfl's new bag rules are ridiculous. No bags at all allowed into stadiums except for gallon size clear zip lock bags. Stadiums also won't give you bags for things you buy at their gift shops. No cell phone or camera bags. Oh, and no seat cushions anymore either.

Victor Cruz finally has a contract. Signed his $2.8 million tender. The Giants forced his hand by not ruling out lowering his tender to $630,000 on Monday, which they would have been allowed to do.

"At that point, I decided to give him the ring as a symbol of the respect and admiration that I have for the Russian people and the leadership of President Putin."

But as Kraft said recently, per the New York Post, that's not what really happened.

"I took out the ring and showed it to [Putin], and he put it on and he goes, 'I can kill someone with this ring,'" Kraft said during the Carnegie Hall's Medal of Excellence gala in New York City. "I put my hand out, and he put it in his pocket, and three KGB guys got around him and walked out."
Were it not for the intervention of the White House, this could have gotten ugly. Kraft wanted his ring back, obviously not intimidated by Putin's alleged ability to kill somebody with it. The ring came in at 4.94 carats and was worth over $25,000 (£16,000), and Kraft was not amused. He said that he got a call from the George W. Bush-led White House, telling him that it would really be in the best interests of relations between the two countries if Kraft would change the story and say the ring was a gift.
Kraft, though, was unmoved.

“I really didn’t [want to]. I had an emotional tie to the ring, it has my name on it. I don’t want to see it on eBay. There was a pause on the other end of the line, and the voice repeated, ‘It would really be in the best interest if you meant to give the ring as a present.’”
According to the Post, the ring is now kept in the Kremlin library - presumably in the "Ill-Gotten Booty" section.

For these supposed "journalists" to make fun of a man wh is vitually on his deathbed goes beyond football and is morally reprehensible.. Id say the suspension isn't enough but having to live with themselves, in a city full of asshole, and having to pull for asshole like Roddy White, who has just as little ethics as these fuck is punishment enough..

Win or lose I am so happy to be a fan of a team that supports the efforts of a coragous hero like Steve Gleason, and not a fan of one who have to go out of there way to sling mud at fellow humans to gain attention..

Haven't heard the audio, but making fun of a guy in that situation is fucked up. I listened to Mayhem on my way to school too. Liked the show and it's kind of uncharacteristic of them to take a cheap shot like that.

One of the hosts, Steak Shapiro, went to Tulane and even named his daughter Nola so I don't think it's even about the rivalry between the cities as much as it was just plain cruelty towards an easy target. Unacceptable and fucked up either way. The station is the ESPN affiliate for Atlanta so their hand was forced I guess.
