Disturbed's Countdown Notes: William Regal


Video 1 - The Entrance

LOL WTF @ his music! Regal comes out and makes his way down to the ring. He whips his feet before actually entering and then starts a little warm up.

Video 2 - Fight Time

Regal lands a sunset flip for a no count and then hits a T-Bone suplex. He follows up with a Butterfly suplex and a lands a couple of punches to the head.

Video 3 - The End

Regal has Scotty facing the ring post in the turnbuckle and lands a couple of stiff shots to his kidneys. When Scotty least expects it, Regal nails him with the Brass Knucks and gets pinned for the three count. Regal then celebrates.

Yeah not too shabby for a PS2 at all..

Id post on ign but i got banned for giving people links to Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 and No Mercy and a N64 emulator..

Great character models.. i only wish the roster was more up to date.. thats the only bad thing so far. But at least we get to play with..

Yeah i cant sleep because all the souls ive maimed are haunting me..

Well i did sleep from 06:40 am till 14:00 pm so i got over 6 hours sleep in.

When you have a place to yourself you dont know what to do with yourself unless your out and about.. can get boring very very quickly.. but there's always Mercenaries..

I wish they would redo the I Quit Match and since they have the wrestlers actually doin the voice overs now, you could actually hear them quitting. That was a really fun match. I don't even think it'd be that hard to remake...when you have the mic in hand press down+cirlce and have a submission meter appear.

Now, what would Tough Enough Mode consist of? Training to become a wrestler? Wouldn't that be almost like another Season mode? I'd love to see that, maybe a CAWs-only Season Mode that acts like Tough Enough, where you train with Al Snow and Bill DeMott or Hardcore Holly (Snow and DeMott could be hidden wrestlers then) and fight in different types of matches and are graded on whether you fulfilled a list of requirements for that match, like doing X amount of submission holds, X amount of grapple moves, etc.

That would kick ass actually.

I like it.. i like it.

It could be done like Fight Night Round 2. Training and also the sparring - obviously just make it wrestling orientated like reversals or the trainer calling out each move and you have to do that move.

It would be great if it was more detailed like that.. maybe something for the PS3.

Ric looks great, even in the last game i had some great matches playing as Ric. He has all the right moves and the flop taunt is priceless when you do it during a match.

Yeah ive heard this is only the 90% build but they haven't got long to add all these things have they??

Suppose the games probably 3 or 4 months old, so if they've been working on the entrances and the finishing touches all that time then it should be a damn good game.

Its one of the reasons i just look at the pictures i dont watch the entrances, kind of spoils it for me to see too much. I feel sorry for the dumb asses who've watched all the cutscenes and entrances!

I like to have plenty of suprises when i play the game.. i dont like to know too much. Ideally i wouldn't have looked to see who the legends where this year, curiosity got the better of me

Hmm, in terms of season attributes, do you think they will use the HCTP method or the SVR method?

HCTP method: Season OVR rating = Original OVR + whatever you add

SVR method: Season OVR rating = 26 OVR + whatever you add

Apparently Hogan is eligible for season mode use according to Mike Regan (who has a copy like Dunham).....also, apparently he tried season with Hogan and Xtian and they went through the EXACT same storyline as Orton did in Jeremy's vids (with Cena/Show invading and having to team with HHH and the like).....this is strange since Dunham made it seem like that was an Orton-specific storyline

Video 1 - The Entrance

Wooooo Alterbridge! His theme kicks off and Edge actually comes out at the right time, dunno why they can do it for Edge, but not for Cena. He does his retard thing to each side of the stage and then makes his way down to the ring. It's even got his new titan tron with him and Lita making out, yuck. He slides in the ring and taunts.

Video 2 - Fight Time

Jindrak gets a backslide pin on Edge before Edge recovers and gives him a standing Tornado DDT. A neckbreaker follows along with three knee's to the gut and a scoop slam.

Video 3 - The End

SPEAR! Edge then nails the three knee's to the gut and a scoop slam. He then sets Jindrak up for the Special Spear, which is done by the fallen guys head BANG he hits it and it's all over. edge then celebrates.
