Saw one of the worst calls I've ever seen in the Angels/Rays game last night:

He kept us in the game and thats all you can really ask of him. Hopefully he keeps pitching for that next contract from another team and pitches well the rest of the way.

Yankees need to finish the sweep today and head into the Boston series on a good note. Get to miss Beckett in that series so thats good (even though he hasn't been too great this year). Lester will probably dominate us but they should hit Wakefield and Byrd hard. Who knows though.

And watching the game, it's become even more clear that Pedro just doesn't have it anymore. It's a shame to see a Hall of Famer get lit up like a pinata and have so many injuries, distractions, and his dad passed away a few weeks back. I think it's about a 95% likelihood that he hangs 'em up after the season.
