the Miami game, down 21 points with almost a whole qtr left isn't a blow out anymore, look at the AFC championship game, Pats kicked the Colts ass in the 1st half... but the game wasn't over.

The Dolphins game can be looked at from different ways. I tend to think that its pretty safe to call off the dogs when somone named Lemon is QBing them and they dont have there starting running back anymore.

The Redskins game was obviously running up the score. I laughed cause Belichek said something like " Do you want us to kick a field goal? " when asked about going for it on 4th down while being up 38-0. I'm thinking " No dumbshit, thats why you employ a punter! ". But thats me being biased i guess.

Manning was sat in the 4th quarter after his last touchdown which put them up 48-24. You are comparing those teams to this years' Pats. The comparison is ridiculous. The argument is that New England has been running up the score... those teams obviously weren't. I don't know how posting scores from other teams who have blown their opponents out proves anything really. No one's arguing "you play the game"... it's what you do once you have the game wrapped up.

Yea right after the Cowboys game I wasn't quite sure they ran up the score. But now it is blatanly obvious. But what can we do, cry about it? I certainly hope they don't win the superbowl and tank somehow so we can all laugh..but doubt it'll happen.

They didn't really run up the score against Dallas. They needed to keep scoring the entire game. Then when they were up 41-27, they just kinda ran one in.

Pretty much my feeling, you're paid to play a sport, this isn't highschool or little league, you're a well paid profesional athlete, if you don't like it, stop it... you can't, that's your fault.

You're kidding right? You do realise the Pats couldn't run out the clock because the Cowboys used their final timeouts in an attempt to get the ball back? As for the Phins, 21 points, almost the whole 4th qtr left, Brady back in, puts it out of reach and then takes a seat for the rest of the game.

The Skins, we're talkijg about Matt Cassell, this guy wouldn't be the 2nd QB on most teams and some not even the 3rd. The Redskins Defense which is considered good this year couldn't stop Matt Cassell on 4th down. Could they have punted the ball into the end zone? sure... but why just give the ball away? Why not take advantage of a rare chance to have your backup QB get some ingame live experience.

RP - are you biased? sure, a little, same way I am and most people who favor their hometown team, we have more info about your home team then anyone else due to local coverage and you dislike your rivals. But while I disagree with you most of the time you back it up and have never tried to argue Indy's offense based on their madden raitings

Hey, if Indy's spanks the Pats 70-0 this weekend good for them, I just don't see it happening, I admit I'm doing what I never do which is count the Colts out, I just don't see how anyone stops this Offense and to get in a shoot-out you have to destroy this defense which is one of the best.

I think it will be a good game, but in the end I see the Pats by at least 10 points.

I also think this roll continues, I don't think they go undefeated, something will happan, but I think Brady shatters the QB records and takes league MVP. Which will bring back a fun off season debatone of Brady vs. Manning.

Yeah the NFL's overtime is such bullshit.

They don't need to make it like college and have each team start on the 25 or any of that, but they need to at least give the other team a chance to have the ball if one team scores on the first possession. And if they go 4 and out/miss a FG/turn the ball over, it's over. So unfair that the whole game can come down to a fucking coin flip.

Denver could have stopped Green Bay, and they didn't. I see your point about each team getting the ball etc. and yeah possession is decided on the coin flip, but ultimately its up to the defenders to stop the offense. They didn't, so they lose.

Apparently ( according to ESPN ) Marvin Harrison is a "secret" weapon. Also apparently ESPN assumes that New England are fucking stupid and we'll never see it coming.

What happens if the Colts actually do play the Patriots in the playoffs? I think ESPN has burned through all there ColtsvPats material for the next 3 years. I'm still betting theres gunna be a Hunter Smith/ Chris Hanson feature before this game even happens. I dont know what ESPN will do for a potential rematch in the playoffs. Probably just re air everything.

Colts would be such mega faces in a playoff game. Hell, they are right now for Sunday's game. Still think the Pats are gonna dominate though. Didn't Marlin Jackson like limit Steve Smith to 2 catches for 20 yards or some shit last week though? Well, then again, they had Vinny starting. Dunno, it's gonna be an interesting game regardless. I'll go with Pats by 10.
