why would that even be an issue though? that's kind of stupid. I'm assuming the Packers don't have the exact same plays as last year and if they did, football is not a game that has definite answers on how to beat a team. If Farve said anything, it's just his own opinion, which is just that...an opinion

maybe I'm not seeing it like other people

Not exactly a good thing to hint at how to beat a team that will presumably retire your jersey and apparently have a $30m marketing deal set for you when you retire.

well yea, but take away that part of the whole thing and just focus on the game itself, I don't see how it would give that big of an advantage. Farve would basically know as much as the average team scout or whatever.

So I just heard on the news here in Charlotte that there are still 400 tickets left for the Cardinals/Panthers game this weekend and the game will be blacked out if they don't sell out. Now it will probably sell out by Sunday, but just thought that was hillarious.

Basically what happend to Harrison was that Bellichek, the genius that he is, left Harrison out there in a 35-0 blowout. Even thought he must have known that his secondary is swiss cheese already and they couldnt afford to lose him. Did i mention bellichek is a genius?

what's funny is after the game (I was there) there pro shop had John Lynch Pats jerseys for full price... (after they had cut him pre-season they were discounted).

Krispy, on Brady... no one really knows, him, his doctor and the pats are saying nothing, these are all 2nd and 3rd hand reports... so it's possible he's fine or it's possible the leg was amputated.

the only story going around with a little credit is the Pats are pissed because they wanted him to have surgery here with their doctors but he wanted to be back home for it (closer to his dad? or gisele? dunno) and use a different doctor and if there was a fuck-up the pats are pissed he didn't use their doctor.

Part of me says he'll be fine and back next year, part of me says he has a ton of money, 3 rings, mvp's, etc... and a hot girlfriend... hang it up while you can still walk... you see all these old x-players who say life is a chore from the damage of football.

Brady is still having complications due to infection in his knee.. They are saying they might have to remove the tendon and start the whole procedure over.. I am not a Brady fan by any means, but I do respect the guy and this fucking sucks for him and the Pats..

Wasn't steroid, you fucking shithead, it was diuretics.. "Water pills" to maintain hydration while cutting water weight.. It has been reported that some of the 10 players to get busted, have sipulations in their contracts about maintaining a certain weight.. They keep saying that NFL players take them to cover up steroid use, but why would they take a banned substance to cover up another banned substance?? Make absolutely no sense, specially since Goodell changed it to were ANY banned substance gets you a minimum 4 games suspension.. Atleast Deuce and Smith will play Sunday, due to the appeal, but when Hollis Thomas got popped for asthma meds, he had been taken his whole (at that time) 11 year career, and was perscribe by a team doctor, even the smallest missunderstandings of the rules can bite you in the ass..

I know, it's just a shitty situation.. It wasn't steroids, but it was one of the "gray area" things that happened to be on the banned list.. Thing is, there pills in question were advertised as an "all natural" diuretic, which is pretty much like drinking cranberry juice or vitamin B-12.. The reason they are saying it's used to cover up other drugs is cause it makes you pee.. Meaning you can clean your system out quicker with them, than without.. If that is the reason they are banned, this is super gay..

I don't care what the NFL is saying, this has to be a newest thing cause why else would they all of a sudden find over 10 players using it??

I mean, had this happened week one, it wouldn't have been that big of a deal since Deuce only carried the ball twice the first 4 weeks.. But now, Reggie is hurt so this is a major blow.. No running game, no play action and that's what our offense thrives on..

The NFL said Thursday Johnson was fined for unsportsmanlike conduct for banging on some drums in the Chiefs’ pep band during Sunday’s 34-10 victory. He was penalized 15 yards at the time.
