The World Cup kicks off on the 9th of June and the Final is on the 9th of July.

The US's first game is against the Czech Republic on June 12th

If you want to get into it, watching the world cup is probably an easy way cos you've already got a team to support and they'll definatly be showing all your games in America. So just by watching a few games then you'll probably pick it up easy enough.

I KNEW Sunderland would beat West Brom, gutted i didn't put anything on it now.

I hadn't heard that when i posted to be fair, but given the caps Sven hands out it would have been easy money if he was to carry on.

Guess it depends if Wenger treats Walcott like Pennant, but after spending that much on him, and with Ljungerg's indifferent form, i doubt it.

I knew he wouldn't be there after the World Cup months ago. The writing has been on the wall for him for ages. I just knew they wouldn't sack him before then.

Can't be arsed to look for dates but for arguement sake, wouldn't Rooney still be the youngest player if Walcott takes until October to be capped?

I'm not in favour of them charging Neville. I can see why they have (I'm guessing they felt there was an intent to incite the crowd, which is potentially dangerous) but at the end of the day, he was just celebrating a goal. This whole Di Canio thing pisses me off as well, but thats more for a political reason. Celebrating is part of the game and as long as it doesn't go too over the top (if your diving into the crowd, it is potentially pretty dangerous or going close up and yelling abuse at the opposing fans I would see grounds for it) but in the case of Neville he did neither really, he was well away from the fans and didn't hurl abuse at them, and the Whelan thing was a joke.

Things which are dangerous should be stopped, things which are pure emotion like Neville, Whelan or Robben the other day.... the FA needs to give leeway.
