I just got the game and the first thing I did was a match with Orton (me) against Snuka (wanted to hear if the legends had there real music). Very surprised with some of the game.

And is it only me or does it look like the ring is smaller for some reason.

So Orton theme actually states "Hey nothing you can say...."Dark Splicer said that the Orton vid that was posted on IGN was the full version and their would be no changes.On that vid Orton had the full version not the WWE Mix

Well he is a moron. If he read some things correctly, he would have read Jeremy saying that in the game he used for those videos, everything was 100%, APART from music.

So that is why Orton has the correct mix of his enterance theme.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im a big fan Orton and was kinda of disappointed his theme wasn't going to be current.Im getting this game for sure

Bought the game. Its good, its a step up from HCTP, does have some great new features, but THQ took out some features in HCTP that would have made SMvsRAW kick more ass than it does. The roster is what really is the biggest drag, they could have added a whole lot more though.

One thing that really sucks is that in season, there is no win/loss record and there is only 2 titles that you can win, but between the matches it is very good

I picked this game up today and didn't stop playing until I came back home to check some internet stuff and grab a few things. I did all of the challenges, but I haven't figured out how to unlock the legends challenges yet. It has to either be to win Season Mode, or after you unlock all of the legends.

First let me say the belt costs are rediculous, it'll take a full day to earn enough money to buy a single belt. One belt cost as much as about all of the hidden stuff put together.

Lastly, here are a few tips for people who might get stumped on the challenges. I don't have the game here with me so they are in no order.

ROYAL RUMBLE CHALLENGE: I won pretty easily by first irish whipping them towards the ropes, then doing the running irish whip to get them out of the ring. A good button bash and they're gone.

TRIPLE H CHALLENGE: You'll have to do this at the Smackdown set cause it requires you to put him through an announcers table. You have to put him through BOTH announcers tables to win. Michael Cole and Tazz stand up just like they do on TV once you get on their table.

AGAINST THE ODDS CHALLENGE: Pick somebody like The Undertaker who can take a good beating, and somebody weak, but not weak to the point they can't pick him up. Get them to the point you can beat them, then let them beat on you until they deliver 2 finishers.

SPINAROONIE CHALLENGE: Hit a high impact move, go outside of the ring and hit "Up" on the right analog stick. It's a shorter spinaroonie. When the opponent comes outside, hit a high impact move and go back inside to do the spinaroonie. Do the same thing over and over again and it shouldn't be a problem.

Well, I'm going to grab some stuff and head back so I can play it some more. If anyone figures out how to earn money fast, or how to unlock the Legend challenges I'd like it if you could PM them to me cause I probably won't be on much. Take it easy.

Alrighty, I’m sure other people have done this on this thread, well now it’s my turn. After a good solid 8 hours of game time today, a quick list of what I like, and what I don’t like. Spoilers below, so if you don’t want to know them, pass this message up.

First and foremost, the roster… I don’t want everything totally up to date. I understand that Eric Bischoff and The Big Show have new hair cuts, but they left Sable in there… How long has it been since she hasn’t been employed by the WWE?
Where the hell is LaRes? We can play as Rene Dupree, but not Rob Conway or Sylvian. Whassupwitdat? Oh, the WWE needed to recall that no one gives a crap about A-Train before they let him go so they could have taken him out of the game. Yes, as of a week ago it was up-to-date for him to be in it, but still, no one cares.
I don’t mind the fact that Kurt is the GM for SmackDown, but I’d still rather see him as someone you could go through the season with and have Teddy Long or Paul Heyman the GM of SmackDown.
Maven and Steven Richards would have been nice to play… and why is The Rock put in with the legends? Is it because he spends more time in Hollywood than in the ring?

The voiceovers are cool, but the play by play needed some polishing… Cole talks about how “these two men” in a tornado tag match, while JR talks about how Tajiri or Trish could be the next champion. Submission match, 10 mins left on the clock, and The King says it could be over in 30 seconds or 30 minutes.

Aside from all of that, it’s a good game. I like the dirty/clean aspect, the season mode is decent, the minigames are original, and the legends (even though they no longer have The Million Dollar Man) are cool…. It sounds like more bad than good, but the good outweighs the bad. It’s just easier to talk about the bad.

If you’re a hardcore SmackDown game fan, go on and get it. If you’re not, rent it before buying.

anytime anybody posted a spoiler they had big letters saying spoilers, (like the screenshots from season) so i just assumed that would be the norm for all of the thread, guess not

I won't spoil it but I went through Raw as the champion... all I'm sayin about that is that it is pretty interestin how things play out. Especially at Wrestlemania.

Now I'm goin through SD! with my created guy since I finally got attributes for him and I must say it is somethin that can get you interested. You know you get your new guy in there and he is submerged into quite a bit.

You enter as a champion on Raw and things are interesting. Have to try some other predictiments later on though. As of right now the game is a keeper.

Here are a few downers that I haven't seen anyone mention yet.

STABLES: There are limitations on the Stables you can create. They all have to be in the same class. For example, somebody with a high overall status can't join a stable with somebody with a low overall status. I tried to make a stable for Kurt Angle and Mark Jindrak, and I can't.

DEFENDING BELTS: I read in the instruction manual that you can only defend belts during a PPV in 2 player mode. You must also have 2 memory cards to do so.

The Stable entrances are pretty cool though. For those of you who don't know. 2 person stable entrances include The Hardy Boyz, TWGTT, Rico & Jackie, DX, and the Dudley Boyz face entrance. (So yeah, you can add the pyro to the Dudleyz entrance, ect...

3 person stable entances include DX, Rico Haas & Jackie, The Hardy Boyz & Lita, ect..

I found a way around this:

Make this stable:
Kurt Angle
Edge
D-Von Dudley
Mark Jindrak

As you add lower OVR talent, the minimum OVR gets lower, so you can gradually work your way down to Jindrak.

Then delete Edge and D-Von, and you can save the stable with just Angle and Jindrak.

it is extremely short... and also on Undertaker's entrance... the only part I hate about it is when he rolls his eyes back at the turnbuckle. Looks like he was gettin somethin and gettin it good.

What's everyone's verdict on CAW?

For the most part, it kinda sucks... especially if you are making "real" wrestlers.

The hair designs and accessories have gotten WAY better, but overall, it's lacking, even compared to HCTP.
