What's everyone's verdict on CAW?

For the most part, it kinda sucks... especially if you are making "real" wrestlers.

The hair designs and accessories have gotten WAY better, but overall, it's lacking, even compared to HCTP.

Both the male and female CAWs have the same basic face design. You can change the "skin" type of the face, but not the face design, as one had been able to do since Shut Your Mouth.

There are no more "premade" faces. Even with these, it gave people who made loads of CAWs (real, and "original") some degree of variety in their characters.

There are only 32 layers available (I think there were at least that much and a couple more in HCTP).

The design/pattern issue has gotten worse. Remember when you were allowed to have two toned items (i.e. one color was either white or black, yet you could edit the red/blue part of it)? No longer.

Designs put on the body and that would connect to the legs from the hip in HCTP no longer do so in SVR.

We are still saddled with all those plaid/floral designs, there aren't really many "WWE" designs.

The hair and accessories have gotten worlds better, though. I saw "Ryu" style headbands among other things, more hats, sunglasses, masks, and so on.

The amount of original signs has gone down.

The amount of call names really sucks in comparison to Shut Your Mouth.

Not much effort seems to have been put into this mode as others have been.

Since CAW is the reason I personally keep coming back to SmackDown, this was a disappointment, considering I was unsure about HCTP's CAW, but actually made some classics. SmackDown has usually been good in improving CAW from year to year, but now it's a step back.

Here are a few downers that I haven't seen anyone mention yet.

STABLES: There are limitations on the Stables you can create. They all have to be in the same class. For example, somebody with a high overall status can't join a stable with somebody with a low overall status. I tried to make a stable for Kurt Angle and Mark Jindrak, and I can't.

DEFENDING BELTS: I read in the instruction manual that you can only defend belts during a PPV in 2 player mode. You must also have 2 memory cards to do so.

The Stable entrances are pretty cool though. For those of you who don't know. 2 person stable entrances include The Hardy Boyz, TWGTT, Rico & Jackie, DX, and the Dudley Boyz face entrance. (So yeah, you can add the pyro to the Dudleyz entrance, ect...

3 person stable entances include DX, Rico Haas & Jackie, The Hardy Boyz & Lita, ect..

Just Bring It was more of a step up from the previous title than this title was.

At least it had 2 Austin themes, Jerry Lynn, Rhyno and Tajiri snuck in the game...along with snuck-in ECW and WCW logos.

This snuck in...a lot of disappointing crap.

The general consensus on Just Bring It approximates my initial impression of this game.. save the gameplay issue (which is still quite good).

Bought it yesterday. I thought it was a pretty good game. I a bit peeved that Triple H is now the default wrestler for the select screen.

Other then that, the gameply is pretty good, and while the storyline is linear, it does sport voice-overs for the first time. Voice overs are pretty wooden, but I'll give them some credit as this was the first go around on these things. I'm playing the lower card storyline with my CAW. Thus far, it seems like the plot centers around getting nookie from each of the Divas. (Hey, is this some sort of Japanese dating sim? )

I understand the complaints about the CAW, as I tried to recreate my guys from HCTP and failed miserably, but the doubling of the polygons really does its magic: it's much harder to tell the difference between the regular line-up and the created characters.

The new Royal Rumble system is much more fair: I just lost a match when two guys ganged up on to me kick me out of the ring. Bastard! The manager system is pretty fun, too. Rene Dupree, who's playing as Bubba Ray's manager, managed to screw me out of three pinfalls by distracting the ref. Good stuff. I also like how the manager now accompanies you to the ring.

It's a step back from HCTP; it think the perfect game would have combined aspects of both HCTP and SvR. But I'm still satisfied. The Smackdown series is perhaps the only game series where I felt that, for every game, I got my money's worth. This game is no exception.

I said a couple days ago that its a step up from HCTP, I kind of take that back now. El Santo explained alot of things in my opinion as well. There are a few things that I like and what I think is a great new feature is that in season mode you can now edit other peoples attributes. Like I'm doing a season with Edge and I got to edit Jericho's submission skills and all that, so thats good. Like Santo said, the royal rumble and manager modes are good.

The CAW isnt the best this year, but still is average. I'm really impressed with the moves, they added quite a few and they changed the animations of the moves as well. The hardcore match isnt really the best, like theres only one backstage area and its very interactive, but its just one normal sized room. They also took out the Time Limit mode. They made new features to the Elimination Chamber, you can decide what number you enter as and theres like a 6 man tornado tag mode.

Like Santo said again, combine aspects of HCTP and SDvsRAW would be perfect. The roster is another thing that brings SDvsRAW down.

Those don't help too much. All I get form those are like 2,400 and 1,400. I already did all the beginner ones. THen I got 8 of the 15 superstar ones and I don't even know how to unlock the legend challenges.

You unlock all of the Legend Challenges by unlocking all of the legends. I just did it last night.

One good way to get cash is to get the title early in Season Mode. You'll get about an extra 1,000 when you defend the belt. In about the 2nd or 3rd month you'll wreslte a 10,000 Triple Threat ladder match. Just wrestle up until the ladder match, then start a new season, and repeat.

quotin means quotuing. And speaking of quoting I am doin no such thing but I do have two pieces of good news.

1. I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switchin to Geico.

2. I found a way to have one match where the money you can receive from it grows with each match. And here is the procedure I came up with in order to do it.

First and foremost the process requires two memory cards. If you do not have at least two memory cards then you cannot do this.

FIrst you must copy everything from the main card to the other card. From now on the other card will be known as OC and the main card will be known as MC. Now with the OC in the 1st memory card slot go to Create A PPV(CAPPV). Cash in any and all titles (if any). Then create a belt. Just one belt using every single dollar that you possibly can. It doe snot matter how the belt looks. Just make it extremely expensive but you can still afford it. Cause you have to be able to buy the belt. Then save to that memory card. That card should be the OC card. CAPPV with 3 matches. Whichever match you wanna do make your title match with that belt on the line. Make it a single match(it's quicker). And two players if you can.(Even quicker) Have MC in 2nd memory card slot. Follow the save procedures as they show up on screen and change nothing.DO the match and have player 2 win. Player two must win so the belt foes to the MC card. Follow save procedure again.Then go to options and move the MC card into the 1st memory card slot and load the MC. Go to CAPPV and cash the belt. Follow save procedures. Then go to options and change the MC with the OC and save to the OC. Go back to CAPPV and repeat entire process starting with creating most expensive belt possible that you can affor. Money per match should then increase.

It seems a lil crazy at first but after doin it two or three times it's easy to do. And it is quicker than doin season over and over and over again. And then eventually you make more money doin this than any match in season mode. Can make 10,000+ in a match that can take only 14 seconds.

Yeah I did this for me as well as for you out there that want the money but are tired of doin season over and over again.
