I heard EJ Manuel looks pretty good in training camp. Might pick him up as my #2 QB this year.

I have the unfortunate honour of having Stevie Johnson as one of my keepers in my dynasty league (we get 2 per year, can't be anyone drafted in rds 1 or 2), and I have absolutely no faith that I'm better off with him than I am with, say, Lance Moore. How's the Bills' offense supposed to look this year? I'm assuming Manuel will have to keep things reeled in pretty close and it's gonna be the Spiller show for the first half of the season or so.

If you took one of my drunkest moments and only looked at that as material in which to judge me by, you probably wouldnt think I was a great person. I suspect that's probably true with most people.

True, but to a certain extent "in vino veritas." I'm sure there are plenty of people who get drunk and don't suddenly feel emboldened enough to start throwing out racial slurs. The whole "I was drunk" argument can be just as weak and overused as people claiming racism in situations where it doesn't exist.

I don't think Riley Cooper is a card carrying KKK member, but I don't blame people for raising their eyebrows at this or keeping him at arms length.

I honestly have no idea. I still have it in my head that Chan Gailey and/or Dick Jauron is still the head coach and that the words "up" and "tempo" don't exist in either of their vernacular.

I'm not excusing anybody. I'd just, you know, like some evidence that Riley Cooper is a racist person considering he's being labeled as one on every channel. Is this a perpetual ptoblem with him or did he just say something dumb when he was drunk? I think there's a difference.

I don't care too much about scrimmages in general, but the Jets Green & White scrimmage has me intrigued w/ the whole Sanchez/Smith QB battle going on.

I actually think the Jets can be better than people think if they straighten up the QB situation. Not AFC championship good, but competitive and entertaining.

I'm partly biased and everything but as I look at the numbers I still don't see how Sapp got in ahead of Strahan. Both are clear HOFers but I figured Strahan was a slam dunk first ballot guy. Kinda think some writers still hold it against Strahan that he touts his single season sack record when Favre basically gave it to him.

Ah well. He'll likely go in next year and will get to appear with the rest of the 2014 class before the SB in the Giants' home stadium. Would be a cool moment.
