To be fair to Cort he started the season really well, been struggling since he got injured And he's not ideal to play up top in 4-3-3. Then again we haven't really got anyone to play in 4-3-3.

Ugh, i appologise to anyone unfortunate enough to be watching the dross on Match of the Day right now.

Yes it was a piss poor penalty decision from that stupid fat cunt Phil Dowd but if you're gonna set your stall out to defend and play for a draw like Redknapp has done then you're gonna be fucked when stuff like that happens.

We quite clearly don't have the ability to defend for 90 minutes without conceeding, so we aren't going to win by playing 4-5-1 with 3 defensive midfielders and an unfit striker with the touch of a rapist upfront on his own.

well that was a much better performance, which just goes to show I was right when i said 4-5-1 was the wrong formation. Once we went 3-5-2 and went for it we may well have got a draw.

I think its fair to say Sean Davis is the best midfielder ever.

I don't think i really need to answer that I'm pretty realistic though and really doubt he'll return.

Andres D'Alessandro has told skysports.com about his delight at his impending move to Portsmouth.

Skysports.com revealed on Monday that Pompey had beaten a host of top European clubs to the signature of the Argentine, who is currently with Wolfsburg.

The details of the transfer have yet to be finalised, but he is expected to join on loan until the end of the season and then will join the club permanently - if Pompey win their battle to avoid relegation.

"I am very excited," D'Alessandro told skysports.com.

"I am very happy to know that I am wanted in England and to play for Portsmouth is a great opportunity.

"I am very pleased that this move is happening.

"I know Harry Redknapp is a great man and I am looking forward to working with him."

D'Alessandro has already agreed personal terms and he will complete a medical on Tuesday morning before sealing his move, providing there are no last minute hitches with final talks between Pompey and Wolfsburg - although no problems are foreseen.

The deal is a major coup for Pompey and will be their ninth of the transfer window, although skysports.com understand that D'Alessandro may not be the last incoming transfer with another striker on the list of potential targets.

A few years ago he got a phone call while he was at a BBQ at Jamie's house saying that Amdy Faye was on his way to sign for Boro, so he kidnapped Faye from the airport when he was going to fly to Middlesbrough, intercepted a load of faxes from Middlesbrough's chief executive, took him back to his house and locked him in a bedroom until he signed with his dogs sitting outside.
