So I have Orton's punt for a finisher on one of my caws. It's produced some pretty "lol moments" for me involving the ref. One time when I was doing the punt, the ref, who was at the other side of the ring, got hit by the punt when I hit whoever I was punting.

Can you edit the show and then make those titles the official tag team titles of the show? I did that with the IC championship on Smackdown. I changed "minor" championship to the classic IC design.

Recent games? I don't remember PPV mode being in any of the Smackdown vs. Raw games. It's a shitty mode you can just do the matches yourself or use a piece of paper and write the matches and accomplish the same thing.

It was simple because that's all a N64 can handle. You talk about advancement but how would going backwards be an advancement? It wouldn't.

I have heard nothing but overwhelming support for the WWE Universe mode except now. It's a great mode. Some people? No, just you. People sometimes complain about GM mode being gone but not make a ppv. GM mode always seemed to me a pale comparison to TEW and Extreme Warfare Revenge anyways.

Not everything was better 'back in the day.'

SVR 2006 and I think 2007 had the create a PPV mode. MAYBE even 2008.
I agree with King Of The Ring Mode..but towards the end it was getting there. I think it was in 2008..that if you won, you got to pick a queen and have a brand new entrance.
As others mentioned, would be cool if they integrated it with Universe Mode and turn it into a story.

Yeah, it's pretty much the exact same thing, only better. Choose a show (it's the same calendar as Universe) and book it. Or book a whole week. Or a whole month of shows to play through.

Honestly, the only downside is that you have to save it and then play it. Otherwise there's no real difference.

If anything needs to make a comeback, it's King of the Ring/Tournament mode because that is a bit involved to make in Story mode. Hell, that could easily be integrated into Story mode by default, which it probably should be.

I think it's a fair point that Universe mode would be much smoother if you could book the whole card and run through it, instead of having to quit out after every match.

I wish they could come up with a "patch" that would do that. But we'll probably have to wait for WWE 13.

It'll probably be a few more years before Universe is fleshed out completely.

That is, assuming they don't just drop it one year, which is entirely possible and would suck.

Alright what the fuck. I go into Create a Story because I'm making a TLC PPV with matches set up like this Sunday. I create show intro, then try to make the first match and I go into competitors and the game locks up EVERY SINGLE TIME. I'm on PS3 does it do this shit on the 360? Someone try it and tell me.

Never had that problem before in the 360 version. Though I don't do the show openings they are filler and don't add anything relevant.

Dunno about anyone else but Universe has still, after almost having had the game for 1 month not booked Cody v. Goldust on it's own. Really pissing me off too since Goldust is the only unlockable wrestler I have yet to obtain. I still have to unlock a bunch of titles and like 1 attire, but those are small potatoes in comparison.

This game is unreal. I had a triple threat cage match between HHH, HBK, and Cena.

I beat the ever loving shit out of both of them as HHH. I get put down with some bullshit grapple by HBK.

Cena and HBK start climbing at the same time. Cena gets out of the cage and wins.

Have had way more success with 2012's servers than 2011's as of right now. I couldn't even load a 2011 story and had to go to my brothers to do it.
