Just bought the game today. Disappointed you can't take the Legends through career mode, can't call at the GMs office during season, nor interact in areas backstage... its strange how they've brought out an updated SmackDown game, yet removed a lot of it's best features... still a good game though, but I must confess I'm disappointed... gotta say HCTP is better overall.

I did the amateur challenges... kida fun cept for the reversals. I hated that. I also completed the legends challenges to win the rest of the moves. Me like a lot cause now all the moves are available. The hardest challenge there was Barber challenge. Beating Bret in a cage match in under three minutes. Barber sucks majorly. Rey vs. Andre was fun. Got him counted out.

Now I was doin superstar challenge but I can't get the Royal Rumble beat so I'ma go back to rising star and beat that one through then do Rumble again.

At least the challenges give me somethin to do. I still want to get Trish as a manager for that will be the last thing for me to do in Season mode... ya know.

Great game so far. Although I must say, it's impossible to win a Rumble if Big Show is in there against you. He either tosses you over the ropes without using the meter, or if he does use the meter it goes down in like a second even if you mash quickly, and he's nearly impossible to eliminate.

Guess I'm gonna have to be Big Show if I wanna beat the challenge.

I beat them first time with The Undertaker. Be someone with high strength like Taker or Big Show, or be Batista against Flair/HHH.

Yeah, I've tried Undertaker, Andre the Giant, Triple H, Rock and Angle.

I don't see why going up against Triple H who is almost as strong as Batista and much better than him in every other category makes sense.

Beat all the challanges except for the legend ones, which I have yet to unlock.

A couple of questions on the game:

Is there any way to have champions come out with their titles in exhibition mode?

Is it possible to carry over the stats from a previous season into a new season while choosing a different wrestler? When I said I wanted to carry over the stats, it just brought me straight back to the beginning of my last season with Shelton Benjamen, without asking me if I wanted to be a different wrestler.

Just unlocked Andre the Giant and beat the living crap out of Hardcore Holly to beat the no damage challenge, the 2 finishers challenge, and the 3 minutes challenge all at once.

Still haven't beat the Rumble challenge yet tho. Is there anyway to reverse an Irish Whip?

Use Andre for the Rumble challange. It's pretty much impossible to lose. All you have to do to eliminate people with him is stun them, then grapple them. This picks them up above your head, then you can just walk over to the ropes with them and press o again to toss em out.

Just had two very cool moments happen. Was in a tag match with Taker as my partner against Cena and Matt Hardy. At the end of the match I tagged in and Taker gave Cena the Last Ride whilst I was perched on the top rope. After he slammed down Cena I came off the top with a frog splash for the 3. Looked awesome.

Another moment was in a Hell in a Cell match against Triple H. We (my CAW and trips) were on top of the cell and I gave him Booker T's scoop slam, the one with the knee's before the slam, and when it came to the slam part, we were right at the edge of the roof and I slammed him off. He bounced around and somehow got onto the table. I then hit the harlem hangover off the top and splatted Triple H through the table. Very awesome moment.

I had an awesome match with Benoit with me as Kurt Angle earlier. It went the time limit (15 mins). Tried to beat him with his own finisher but its kind of hard

Does it cost money to play online? And can you use any CAW's online?

All you need to play online is a network adapoter and an internet connection. Costs nothing besides that.

I havn't tried to use any CAWs online, nor have I seen any, but I think you can use em.

I rented the game and I must say... wtf happened? Same storylines over and over and then the online mode is a complete joke. I played 2 matches, laughed, and am returning this sorry excuse for a game tomorrow.

I did it with champion and that is totally overdone. I went throught he whole thing without bein champion or goin for the world title...

Battle Vince at WrestleMania inside the cell if you complete the little match he has set for you. The ending is pretty nice. After you winthere is this cutscene when they have you put Vince on the announce table and then you slowly climb the cage. I was on Raw so JR was yellin like crazy. Then they have you dive off and deliver this elbow on Vince. It looked nice. Yeah I'm losin just about all fun in the game. I'ma be lookin for new CAw's to create just to try to make the game more fun for me.

Did a 4 hour session on this game last night, complete all challenges apart from the Legend ones (which I haven't unlocked yet). Just about to start my 3rd season, starting off as champ.

I rented this the other day (absolutely shocked they had it), and I'm really enjoying it.

The depleted roster sucks, but I'm enjoying the Story mode (it's my first time through, so I haven't had to repeat anything yet, so it all feels fresh), and I like the Challenges. I still haven't got the knack of reversing finishers. I used to be able to do that all the time in HCTP, but the timing is slightly different in SvR.

I'm being pretty cheap as far as the challenges go. Any opportunity I have to put myself in a huge mismatch, I do. For example, the ones where you're supposed to make three eliminations in a Chamber match, I set up Kurt Angle vs. Stacy vs. Torrie vs. Victoria vs. Molly vs. Sable. I got all five women to tap out. But, hey, whatever it takes to get through the set-up stuff faster so I can do my sim stuff, right?

Oh, and for the record, I am dominant as Jindrak. I'm not going to buy a network adapter, but if I did...

My high point on the game so far was winning my Last Man Standing match for the US Title by hitting the Mark of Excellence onto a table. Unfortunately, it didn't break, but it looked cool.

Although it was pretty funny when Chris Benoit stole Trish's thong and then later on proposes a ladder match to the rights of Trish's contract. Vince is all like... "that's an excellent idea, Chris a ladder match!!!! Oh.. but what are we going to hang over the ring... hmmmm." And then Benoit pulls out Trish's thong.

well after winnin the royal rumble you get ready for the big title match against the champion... lose the match.

After you lose the match you are in the Trish storyline, which isn't so hot.

and the main event to win Trish is a triple threat tag team ladder match... for Trish's panties.

And the stupid thing is that you still have to hang on to those things for dear life before they come down. It's like they are either super elastic or frozen rock solid to continue hangin after someone grabs hold of them and won't come down unless they yank and yank at them.
