I would like to state that one thing they could do is, I dunno, Tour.

The Impact Tapings make them no money, except for Merchandise, maybe.

All I can see them doing from dropping PPV is losing the little bit of revenue the PPVs does in fact garner them.

I like Tommy Dreamer and have all the respect in the world for him, he probably has a lot to offer 'behind the scenes'. But nobody has really cared about him since before the millenium and he's not about to start making anybody any money.

Most people here hate TNA. Their hate has reason to it, I just disagee. That's not to say I think TNA is without flaws, TNA has many flaws. Most people that dislike TNA is because cluster fucks frustrate them more them that WWE's dull booking. Which is another thing I understand I diagree.

I just think that WWE is boring more time per show than TNA is a cluster fuck per show. That is why I like TNA better than WWE.

In saying all that I like all WWE and TNA shows very much, if I didn't I wouldn't watch them. I still get enjoyment out of WWE and TNA.

Most people here like to bitch about TNA more than they like to watch it.

Its even more funny due to the fact they're going on about 'tna changing forever' atm, i know Dreamer isn't part of that 'plan' but its still laughable. If they really want to change forever they need to stop signing old wrestlers that wont make a difference.

Signing Tommy Dreamer is pretty...meh. And I like Dreamer. I think he can still go in the ring, and that he can cut a promo better than most. But, other than bringing him in as a road agent, I just can't think of anything for Dreamer to do that isn't hard work to really get over in today's day and age. I'd rather see them get D'Lo Brown out from behind the scenes.

As for TNA allegedly dropping PPVs -- I think this is a good move. Apparently TNA's PPV buyrates are pretty terrible. Going forward with PPVs is probably not making them enough money to really justify the venture at this point in time. And if they do the same sort of stuff for free on Spike TV, then I can see even the most sceptic person checking out TNA. I mean, it doesn't cost them anything, right? Good will shall come if TNA gives us matches like Kurt Angle vs. Kazarian on free television.

This could also be the biggest way to dent the WWE. I'm not sure how much the WWE relies on PPVs -- but if TNA aired their free live specials on the same day as a PPV like Bragging Rights -- I can imagine a lot of people going for the free special.

I do agree that TNA should keep a few PPVs a year, though. They need to make money somehow, right? I'd keep Bound For Glory, Slammiversary and Lockdown as PPV concepts. Maybe a fourth, but that might feel forced. Build up each PPV like something that *MUST* be bought. That alone isn't enough for TNA to get out of the gutter, but if you pair that with new creative direction and business plan, than it might be a stepping stone for TNA.

The sad part is I know what is going on to this day without even watching. TNA pisses me off because of all the potnetial it has. Like your brother or friend who alway did well in school and you know is smart and could go on to do anything. But all they do is sit around eating hotpockets and bitching about how the establishment sucks while conforming to the establishment. TNA you can truly be better than this, maybe it is time you crossed the line and start being awesome.

I really wanted TNA to succeed, for the record. But I've given them second chance after second chance, and they've let me down consistently. And honestly, I think WWE's still somewhat enjoyable, while TNA is rarely so. I want TNA to step it up, but it seems like the same deal every couple of weeks. Hence the widely held skepticism at tNA changing forever.
