When the New Blood formed in WCW loads of people turned heel on the same night, not sure how many exactly. Also various stables have done it before in WCW such as The Four Horsemen, Revolution, Filthy Animals. Then theres Nexus forming when Heath Slater, Darren Young, Justin Gabriel, Daniel Bryan and Skip Sheffield were all faces during NXT.

Hogan needs to fuck off entirely since it's obvious he can't keep his ego out of the ring.

Jeff Hardy has been a heel before people, in early 03 just before his release. He was shit, so stop getting hyped about it.

Is it bad that as shitty as Raw has been lately, a thread about TNA's biggest PPV only garnered five pages of interest, while Raw does damn near triple that?

I love that they probably think fans filling the ring with trash is proof that they've hit the jackpot.
"It was remeniscent of Bash at the Beach" Lol, yea, except for the fact that marks filling a ring with trash for a heel turn is good. These fans were probably almost all smart marks. They filled the ring with trash for the hell of it. I don't think there was any real heat there. The crowd filled the ring with trash on a regular basis in 2000 WCW. |

I heard that Jeff Hardy is part of They and almost throew up. It is disgusting, to throw a perfectly good face wrestler down the drain. Jeff Hardy is no Hulk Hogan.

It's just a conspiracy Fignuts. A bunch of internet fans with different tastes and varying backgrounds are all under a secret oath to coordinate their dislike for the booking of TNA.
It's not TNA's fault and has nothing to do with the honest to god comparison of the booking and quality of shows. It's just haters. |

Honestly, the only thing TNA has over WWE is a good tag division, and a good cruiserweight division.

TNA has higher ratings too though. It's what the people want to see. The internet just creates fake numbers to hide the truth and protect their precious WWE

In WWE they at least toy with the idea of pushing new stars, so we get a picture of whether they really could be the future or not. For example, a guy like JoMo has gotten his feet wet. In TNA he'd just be in the X-Division, and everyone would say "this guy could be the next big thing." I'm not sure if I agree TNA's roster is stronger in that sense. Just more underutilized. I'd say they're about equal. WWE's midcard and crop of future talents is very impressive these days. |

Also, I would say that the majority of younger talent in WWE has better mic skills than TNA's younger talent. And no matter how much TNA tries to tell everyone that they are a wrestling show, they run the company like a sports entertainment show, just like wwe. They are just really bad at it.

That's been their problem since about 2005 or so. They're running the damn thing in Vince's style of Sports Entertainment, as much as they want to deny that. I've been saying for years that they need to drop that and find their own identity instead of relying on not only other peoples' visions but also blatantly relying on the past. |

Should have gotten Heyman.
Something Lance Storm recently said, is that in the past angles supported and built to matches, whereas these days, matches support and build to storylines. It is very true, but you need to be able to book a sports entertainment style well, for that to work. Back when WWECW first started, and Heyman was the main creative mind behind it, it just felt really different and fresh, from smackdown and raw. I couldn't really put my finger on why, but that comment by lance storm was it. Heyman was booking stories around matches, instead of the other way around. That's what TNA needs to do, and Heyman would have been the guy to do it. |

I don't think Heyman would have been the second coming that everyone believes, but it would have vastly improved the product. Not only building around matches (which they should be) but also long-term planning.
I've brought it up recently a lot, but it bares repeating. The fact that they let Dreamer, who was in the company for less than a month, completely take over a PPV slot, shows that they have no real long-term goals and are only looking for short-term success. That is the absolute most important thing Heyman would have brought with him, long-term planning. They can do that with anyone with a brain and a laid out plan, but they likely won't. |

Oh yeah, wasn't implying that Heyman would be a messiah or anything. Just that the product wouldn't be such an incomprehensible clusterfuck anymore.

Like, every time I tune in to watch TNA, I am not 100% sure on who the faces are, and who the heels are. Alignment and alleigances seem to change weekly.

WWE can be really shit, but they are confident and somewhat consistent in what they do. A lot of what they offer just isn't for certain fans, but they know damn well what they're doing. They also have the ability to make things feel like they matter. Angles last, things are developed, and for whatever reason they can still provide stories and wrestlers that have a feel that they're worth a damn. That could be because of their production values, the overall history the company has and the feel that comes with it, or the fact that they tour in large arenas on live TV, or a combination of all of that. Either way, I really can't get into TNA close to what WWE can still do for me, even if WWE has it's major flaws (it does) and if it isn't all it used to be or could still be (it isn't.) |
