After playing this for a week or so, there is one thing that bothers me about this game and it was fairly prevalent in story mode. After doing your super and your meter is worn out and your opponent has lost a good chunk of health they fly right into the wager minigame and gain a good chunk of life right back. Lost the Wonder Woman battle to Ares because of that. So annoying. Love the game other than that though.

I red-boxed Injustice to give it a try, and I quite enjoy it. I honestly thought I was going to hate the game's story mode (mostly because I'm a big Superman fan and I always hate when they re-use the "let's make him an evil dicator" angle), but I ended up really liking it. Evil Supes was actually a pretty sympathetic villain (at least, up until the third act), and most of the characters felt pretty spot-on....except for Raven and Captain Marvel, who I felt the writers really mistreated. Still, overall, much better than I was expecting.

More importantly, the gameplay is a whole lot of fun. It still feels a little clunky compared to more polished fighters, but it does the job well enough. I'm not exactly a fighting game expert, so I can't really point out all the technical details that work or don't work, but I can definitely see this as being a game to play with your buddies over and over.

So, yeah. All in all, I really like this game.

Batgirl rumored to be the next DLC character based on a glitch that occurred recently on Xbox Live's marketplace.

Batgirl having a similar skill as Bats proper doesn't mean she'd have the same moves (Wolverine/X23, Hulk/She Hulk, Ryu/Ken/Akuma/etc).

Yeah I realize that, but I'd rather have someone completely different. Her moves might be different, but they will still just be variations on acrobatics and gadgets as opposed to say Poison Ivy.

I'm looking at it from a comic fan standpoint as opposed to a fighting game standpoint, if that makes sense.

So I guess we're good to assume that that leaked list of DLC characters is accurate since its predicted the first two correctly?

If thats the case, Scorpion is a let down, but Zod would be cool.

Even Zod though...

There are so many characters that have unique powers that you could have a lot of fun with creatively. Ivy, Mirror Master, Clayface, Firestorm, the list goes on and on.

Dunno, maybe they are picking these guys just cause it's easier to come up with moves and playstyles for them.

Just seems like lost potential to me.

Could also be something similar to what Capcom had to deal with for Marvel vs Capcom 3 where Marvel strictly dictated who could and couldn't be used.

So I guess I learned my lesson about season passes the hard way with this one.

So here's a list of dlc that should be available sometime today:
- Lobo will be available for $4.99, or free to Season Pass holders.
- Batman's Flashpoint skin is FREE with the compatibility pack.

This next one is the one that gets me.
- The Bad Girls & Teen Titans skin packs will be available for $2.99 each, and are not included in the Season Pass.

Love Barbara and I read the New 52 Batgirl every month. It's pretty fucking solid. Firing Gail Simone and then rehiring her like 10 days later was a little weird, but it's all back on track.

No clue why people are surprised the skin packs are separate. People always seem to not understand what's spelled out in front of them.

Do the DLC characters get story content or anything? Just curious. Like I said before, more interested in the story of the game than the game itself.

It's my fault really I saw 4 dlc characters and skin packs when I bought the pass, but not the number of skin packs so I assumed it was all of them they would be releasing.

I haven't tried Lobo out yet but I doubt the new guys impact the story mode. I'm sure they'll get their own "ending" in the classic battle mode like everyone else gets and maybe some Star Lab missions but I doubt they impact the main story. Since even some of the characters in there from the start only had minor roles to play.

If it's anything like the MK DLC, they won't be inserted into the main story mode, but they will get arcade mode endings.

The Red Son DLC which was originally a Gamestop pre-order exclusive is arriving for everyone else as DLC next week according to NetherRealm studios.

Well according to that leaked list awhile back, we still have Zod to go (the list has been accurate so far with all 3 dlc), so maybe Martian Manhunter is a bonus DLC?
