I mean, it's not like it's pushing off amazing content. We had a ten to twenty minute segment that involved Big Show punching a bunch of jobbers, and then walking out of a match.

If you'd rather there be more time open for that than having someone who can actually interact with the crowd and be spontaneous and reactionary to the crowd (and, yes, is allowed to do so), then we have a different of opinion. I don't think that John Cena talking is going to suddenly get great content cut from the show. We're 100% not at that point.

On one hand, Del Rio has been horrible as the US champ since he barely has done anything memorable with it. On the other hand, no confidence another return of the Cena Open Challenge will be any different than before since the WWE already blew it twice with Cena as champ and the end result.

If it means the US Open Challenge comes back, I'd be more than happy for Cena to regain the championship. Even if the ending of it the past couple of times wasn't wortht he build-up, at least we had a weekly almost guaranteed high quality match with some kind of stakes.

Agree on it did provide plenty of good to great matches which is more than what the WWE has done with Rollins and Del Rio as champs. Just lost some enthusiasm for it when it started to become obvious nobody really was benefiting besides Cena.

I think fans have been disappointed that what they saw as Cena trying to help get newer guys over hasn't really resulted in a major or even moderate push for any of them. At least that is where MY personal frustration and consternation with the challenges lie.
