I used to think Baron Corbin was agressively bland. But at least he has a decent look, a gimmick, and a somewhat memorable name. Daniel Garcia has none of these (No, "Good at Wrestling" hasn't been a gimmick since Bret retired. And it was a gimmick for him because not everyone was "Good at Wrestling.")

Baron Corbin is a good hand. He just doesn't have the it factor to potentially make him a star. But he's a solid, safe worker that can make other guys look good. If I was starting a company he'd be someone I'd be interested in picking up for my roster as an upper midcard guy.

Never got it with Corbin. Watching in last week though, he’s really good. He’s always put one foot in front of the other really well, if nothing special. But he gets great reactions without needing to a million flips.

Daniel Garcia has got potential. I want him to get better. He’s so…commonplace though. He needs a lot of polish and a bit of dynamism to go with the wrestling.

Punk being back is fun. I expect him and Moxley to bleed profusely at All Out.

I think Punk being out has hurt whatever storyline they had planned for MJF. We shall see.

Loved Moxley Jericho 2. Thought it was better than their first match.

-Brody vs. Darby was good fun. I was totally expecting Sting to be in the coffin the entire time. I'll never tire of Sting just showing up in random places. Trios match with HOB/Sting/Darby/Miro likely upcoming.

-Faccion Ingobernable/Lucha Bros was awesome and the match I was waiting for since Rush signed. Definitely lived up to the hype for me and I'm jazzed at Dragon Lee coming in next week too.

-Obvious teases at Omega being the Bucks' partner. My body is ready.

-Not really sure a Luchasaurus squash was needed, Jungle Boy pretty much admitted as much on commentary "I probably won't be here long", could've probably just had Christian do an interview that Jungle Boy crashes and it would've had the same effect as what they did

-Miro confirms he's going after HOB so again, feels like that trios match will happen. In the meantime though a Brody/Miro hoss fight sounds damn fun to me.

-Nice to see Wardlow and FTR are still on terms. Can't really say that I care about the Jay/Sonjay/Satnam group. Sonjay is great on the stick but Lethal, while being a solid in-ring hand, just kinda bores me.

-Starks/Solo had some cool history with them being former tag partners. But obviously it was meant to just get Ricky a quick win and build up to a match with Hobbs that I'm interested in seeing.

-Stokely has been stealing the scene for me. I love how he's just seemingly recruiting everyone.

-Jade vs. Rayne was meh. Jade's great but I'm kinda just ready for her to be dethroned at this point. That said the main candidate for that (Kris Stat) is now hurt and much as I like Athena I don't know if I totally buy her as being the one to do it. If Khan has a firm plan on something he's shown he'll hold it off if someone is injured, so if he really wants Kris Stat to do it he might hold off, but guess it depends on how long she's out.

-Jericho vs. Mox was really good. Hard-hitting brawl that hit all the right notes for me. 2 really enjoyable Jericho matches in a row isn't something I expected in 2022 but I'm very happy to be wrong on that one.

-Not thrilled about more JAS/BCC brawling because I'm so ready for that to be done, unfortunately that's not happening.

-Am thrilled about Punk. He looked great here and I'm happy to see him moving around so well on that foot post-op.

-Punk vs. Mox at All Out has me hyped.

With Punk now being back, it feels like MJF could feasibly return at any time. I'm gonna say right now that if he's not back by, at the latest, Grand Slam, then I will actually start to think he's not returning/has been negotiating his way out behind the scenes.

On paper Dark Order should stand no chance against House of Black with how they've been booked lately but Miro will likely crash their match so they're protected in defeat.

I imagine 2 members of Dark Order get taken out during the course of the tournament, likely with backstage attacks framed to look like it was Kenny and The Bucks. This of course forces Hangman into the tournament by the finals because there is no chance Hangman's not wrestling at the PPV.

Of course we'll find out eventually that UE were behind the attacks and it'll put The Elite back on a unified front.

Why they’re creating new belts when the teams are this scant/unestablished is beyond me. There’s no BCC presence. They split up Christian Cage & Jurassic Express, HFO (even though they sucked) and there’s no CM Punk & FTR. It’s a bit of a joke.

The finals is going to be The Elite vs. The Dark Order with Hangman Page in the DO team. Fucking yawn. Who is even left in the DO these days? John Silver & Preston Vance? The biggest question mark is whether Ospreay & Aussie Open go to the semi-finals and work with Omega. Have Aussie Open won a match in AEW?

If Omega is actually on the outs, it makes no sense to advertise a mystery partner. It makes no sense to do that in a tournament anyway. But it’s possible The Hung Bucks go to the finals against The House of Black, who take out Page’s buddies. Or they’ll get “creative” and put Omega in The Dark Order team.

Oh, apparently Page has said he’s not going to be in the DO team. So it’ll probably be Omega & The Bucks vs. HOB in the finals. Either that or Omega doesn’t return, they use Brandon Cutler and Andrade El Idolo and his team no one cares about goes against Will Ospreay & Aussie Open to continue to “Bucks are losers for some reason” story.
