They should have put the Twins game on FX instead of having the Cards game on both. Even then people without cable would be messed. I thought they weren't supposed to do that, the example I am thinking of is last NBA season LeBron's first game was going to be on ESPN but a Knicks/Magic game went into OT and they had to stay with it, so we missed LeBrons first dunk etc.

He has 2000 wins. He is one of the best managers of our time. And to say its his fault when his players fail in the postseason isn't fair. Sure he is responsible for some of it, but not worthy of getting fired IMO.

Atlanta won't make the playoffs next year. They already lowered their payroll this year and really had a bunch of guys come through because everybody thought they couldn't. If you think about the guys they are going to need to rely on next year, and who their pitchers are, it would really be a miracle for them to be as successful as they were this year.

The thing about Bobby Cox is that he has won so many division titles, but look at who is in his division and look at his payroll. This year was something good because they had a lower payroll and Phily and Florida were both pretty good teams.

In order for them to make the changes everybody is talking about, they will need to add payroll and I doubt they are planning on that. Considering how low they are drawing and everything.
