And from the rumors I have heard....the Fayetteville Police are still investiagating the matter and there could be even more charges other than the 3 felonies and 2 misdemeanors Hardy is currently facing.

Trafficking is a charge that also could lead to a federal indictment on his part from the DEA and the U.S. District Attorney if they so choose to turn the case over to them and they want to pursue a federal charge on him.

And to those marks who were talking about Hardy's best defense is to claim the pills and opiates were for personal use and not for sale, that has no bearing or and will have no bearing on his defense against the trafficking charge.

Being charged with Trafficking has nothing to do with personal use or sale...it has to do with the amount of each drug the individual is caught with at the time of search and seizure.

There is prescribed amounts by state and federal laws that constitute a simple possession charge versus possession with the intent to distribute versus trafficking versus manufacturing....which is the various range of charges that you could potentially face being in possession of drugs. It's more of a matter in the eyes of the law that someone in possession with that amount of drugs, its not whether they say that they were using or selling...the sheer amount alone is enough reasonable doubt in the eyes of the law that you would have the intent to distribute them on a mass basis and that the amount is more than believed to be a personal collection... That is just the way the laws are written and the way the law works.

Hardy is probably going to end up facing about 4-5 felonies and 3-5 misdemeanors total. His best option is to plea out and give information to assist the district attorney and the police in obtaining arrests and convictions on where the origination of how he came to possess the drugs and where they are coming from...

In my eyes, Hardy will be lucky if the DA drops him to plead to 1-2 felonies and 1-2 misdemeanors....

Any plea deal the DA puts on the table will have him plead guilty to at least one felony...that is a non-negotiable....

My best course of action suggest and I predict that Hardy pleads guilty to 2 felonies and 1 misdemeanor, the judge sentences him to 7-10 years, and he's getting off lucky there....Hardy will take the deal, and with good behavior time being 20% in most states, that means he can get up to 10 days a month, so he'll be out in 3-5 years and then be on parole.

Either way good luck Jeff Hardy....harder to get ur dope in prison...but u fucked up ur life not anyone else....
