Their review was overly harsh. Having spent some more time with multiplayer....I am enjoying it quite a bit more. It definitely was a necessity to level up to hollow tip ammo and a combat scope.

It's just that I've played this game a million times before just with different settings and even the setting of this is taken from another game.

I am only talking single player though.

Hasney and Roxer both of you have good points and I share those sentiments mostly. I actually like Bad Company 2 more on the multiplayer side of things. Too me it has more depth with spotting, vehicles, better spawn and class structures than Medal of Honor. But much like Battlefield BC2...leveling up is very important because someone is more likely to struggle severely until they get the different scopes and bullets.

One of my favorite things about MoH multiplayer is that you can see peoples red dot scope as a solid red line. This balances it out IMO as it exposes a person and doesn't allow one to consistently aim down the sights without showing themselves. Some would call that a negative, I think its a positive.

I think the popular thing is to 'hate' on this game, so i see it alot. I laugh every time Kalyx says BC>MW yet shat on this (multiplayer made by Dice) and is waiting for the next Call of Duty (which will be very similar to MW).

Its not the greatest military shooter to ever grace gaming, but by no means is this a bad game. To be honest, what annoys me with this game online is the same shit that annoys me with Bad Company.

My reasons were made clear as to why I'm glossing over this for Black Ops. They were even echoed in multiple reviews. Dice was wasting their time here, making a blatant MW2 derivative (under orders) after they already made a much better game than MW2. It's horse shit, totally corporate, and I can't support that.

I give no fault to Dice, however. Still love their work. Their work.

Treyarch, who I respect way more than IW, are doing things with the CoD formula that are in-line with my tastes - making the first CoD I'm genuinely excited about (my entire playtime with MW2 was essentially to prove a few points, when I was done I was done and never looked back).

Loving the silencer. If it wasn't for idiots following me and going "rambo" on one guy, I'd die 3 or 4 times a game.

Still don't like the game that much, campers get free reign without any sort of kill game. Case in point, I stood in the door way of one of the buildings on the fort level and killed 13 people before I died to a rpg. Also levels for TDM are way to small imo.

EA set to counter Call of Duty Black Ops and try to keep as many players for Medal of Honor by announcing a "free" DLC pack to arrive in early November.

New mode called Clean Sweep (no respawns, sort of like Counter-Strike), 2 brand new maps, and 2 redesigned existing maps for Clean Sweep mode.

The DLC is only free for those who activated the Online Pass or paid for a pass for the game.

Yeah but they would be supporting Bobby Fucking Kotick and honestly the guy is terrible for Activision as I see them running every single franchise they have into the ground. The whole Infinity Ward situation is in the courts for a reason.
