Yeah exactly. Benching their starters at the start of the second half would be dumb, even if they were up by 40. Because what if the Rams suddenly score 28 points in the 3rd quarter? You will feel like a dick for benching your starters.

Yeah it is obv not gonna happen "in real life" but a lot of shit can happen technically in 2 quarters of football. Fumbled kick returns, INT returns for TDs, etc

Benching your starters after 1 half would have been more disrespectful imo

If the Giants beat the Ravens next week, the NFC east is probably theirs. I mean , all they have to do really is take one out of three games from the redskins, cowboys and eagles and they can still run away with it.

The NFL has confirmed that the Patriots' Randy Moss was hit with a $20,000 fine this week for his comments after New England's loss to the Colts last Sunday.

Moss actually tried to temper his criticism of the officials, but he said enough to get hit with a pretty hefty fine.

"A lot of guys are really down because we let a game like this slip," Moss said last week. "But when things happen, you have to watch what you say. Guys don't want to get fined. But there was some real iffy calls out there.

"Some of the things you wish wouldn't happen. But good calls and bad calls are part of the game. You've got to live with that one, the good and the bad."

Patriots players complained after the game about a crucial unnecessary roughness call against tight end David Thomas in the fourth quarter, a contention that Benjamin Watson was getting mugged on one late play, and the fact that the Colts were called for just one penalty in the game.

God I dunno if I said this already but the fucking Jets could be 7-2 if they had beaten the shitty ass Raiders. This is going to bother me all fucking season, I know it.

Whatever though, tied for 2nd place in the AFC right now. I think they will beat the Pats on Thurs too.

Also, our D-Backs (specially our safteys) are horrid.. Predator, who (besides Tracy Porter) is the one bright spot of our DBs, broke his fucking knee cap yesterday..

This has been the worse season I've ever witnessed and that saying alot coming from a life long Saints fan.. Atleast in the past, we didn't have all star talent.. Now, on paper we should be a top tier team and instead are sucking ass on a weekly basis..

I hate this season..

I know. 7-2 sounds so more dominating than 6-3. I mean 6-3 is still awesome and everything but it's just so annoying. It wouldn't make Thursday's game so crucial either tbh. We really need to beat the Patriots, otherwise we're competing for a wild card spot I think.

Unfortunately, I think this is true for a large part.

I remember like a couple of years ago...or maybe it was last year, but I know a LOT of people were writing the Panthers in as Super Bowl Champions. Like I'd seriously never seen a team become paper champions that quickly.
