So is it general knowledge that you're a wrestler or is this the first time you're mentioning.
It's cool, just wondering if I missed something. |

WWE wrestler Lil Booker T visits FOX 35: MyFoxORLANDO.com -- Yes, let's have a midget wrestler talk about bullying. They're always the highest respected of wrestlers and are never put in demeaning roles. Never mind the fact that he's not really in WWE anymore and made maybe 10 appearances with the company. |

Skip to 9:10. Cena should take notes on how to deal with heat as a face. |

So basically only the main eventers are showing up. That's why they weren't out there, it was their out for actually having a show.

Occupy Raw! Really?
WWE Turning Wall Street Protests Into Angle
-------------------------------------------------------------------- WWE is trying to take the recent actions around the nation and play it right into the Walkout by WWE Superstars. WWE is attempting to have storylines “ripped from the headlines” in their shows, and the current angle of the RAW roster “walking out” on Triple H is referencing the Wall Street protests. Some tweets that were re-tweeted by the company on Friday include Wade Barrett saying, “#OccupyRaw until our safety has been secured.” Dolph Ziggler said, “Those dirty hippies on wall street have the right idea….We should #OccupyRAW until we get what we want! #TripleHout” So is this walking out on corporate greed? Will they push stronger for unions? As a ACTUAL protester at Illinois State University in IL, I find this pretty funny, since WWE has gotten a lot of slack in the past 2 decades due to it's independent contractor policy. As I sit outside right now, in the cold night, occupying my college campus bridge throughout the night/into morning hours, I ponder if this angle will work or will it even give WALL Street a boost by WWE Programming. Vince, don't mess up Linda's chances! Watch me in our recent video, I'm at the 1:23-1:28 minute mark with a sign. http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http...a77Qh7kzep58KQ PEOPLE OVER PROFIT! Problem is, it's the Heels that would be the Occupiers.
Yep, this is as dumb, if not dumber, than I thought it would be. |

Nah what this is is actually an attack on the movement if anything, look at this current storyline it's being done with heels leading the charge. Fans are being told to hate this sort of thing.

The name alone reminds me of this:
"NYAH HA! WE SNACK ON DANGER AND DINE ON DEATH!" Also, winners don't use drugs. |

I mean, it's not like it's the Heels, aka the folks we're conditioned to hate, who are talking about issues like "Independent Contractor Classification" or "Forming a Union." I mean, it's not like Professional Wrestling as a whole is receptive to the word Union, unless it's a joke stable. I mean, it's not like One of the Owners of WWE (let's face it, Linda STILL owns a significant amount of Stock) is running for a Senate Seat, as a Republican. I mean, it's not like Vince has NEVER used a storyline to reflect his real life opinions of people/events. "Those people in Greenwich are such elitist snobs. I know, I'll create a wrestler with the gimmick of a Greenwich elitist snob, and he'll be a heel!" And I mean, it's not like WWE didn't put out a segment in this week where the fans were meant to boo the folks offering legitimate complaints that were answered only by ad hominem attacks by the COO. This sums up my opinion of this in a serious matter more than anything else... http://www.popmatters.com/pm/post/14...-where-only/P0 |

Taking inspiration from something is fine, so long as they don't just try and transplant a real life story into their programming to be 'relevant'.

"In the WWE, Superstars are divided into two groups -- the good guys, who appreciate anarchy and violence, unless it happens to them; and the bad guys, who are all for progressive human rights. These are their stories..."
