With the Giants' penchant for injuries I'm gonna just assume it's a torn ACL again. And in an even more eerie occurrence, Jonathan Goff tore his ACL again as well and was cut by the Redskins.

Eh, I used to get all worried about injuries but after last year I'm not going to sweat it.

Speaking of CBs, I want to see Justin Tryon make the team. Fairly certain he played the whole Miami game last year with a broken forearm. That's the kind of tough bastards I want to see on the squad.

Yeah Tryon seems solid. If I were making a pre-season 53 man roster prediction (maybe I will) I'm pretty certain he'd be on it.

I know they won the SB last year with all the injuries but it still sucks to see it. I feel terrible for Thomas if his ACL is torn again. I believe that'd be his 3rd torn ACL overall...pretty much eliminates any chance he gets a big contract again since the Giants would use their out to void the final 3 years of his current deal.

Also a million defensive injuries means we have to hope for the offense to be as lethal as it was last year. Not saying it can't be but it wouldn't hurt to have some balance.

I thought the secondary played solid throughout last year but they got blown up in some games.

It all starts up front anyway. Need to really get the performance out of the defensive line. That's something I can say that we Giants fans have had the luxury of not worrying about for quite some time.

I think the defense has a lot of nice young players. I love some of the young linebackers the Giants have.

Oh yah Tryon. The guy Jim Caldwell cut so we could lose games more effectively. Highlight of the Colts season imo. Cut a guy for no reason at all. The same guy that was the second best CB on the team

At this point, I'm hoping the Jags trade/cut MJD. He's not going to get a new contract and I'm tired of hearing about it so he just needs to suck it up, play the 2 years on his deal, and earn his 5 million a year until 2015 and then leave, or just asked to be traded.

One of the guys on the local radio show changed his allegiance to the Giants from the Cowboys this past season after their Superbowl win. Browns got sold for about $1 billion with $700 million paid upfront and the rest as a later payment.

Bills and Redskins cleared of any Bounty-gate involvement from the time Gregg Williams helped coached both teams defenses before going to the Saints. Doesn't mean it never occurred there since a few claims have stated it did but the NFL's official stance was it didn't and there wasn't enough evidence for a punishment regardless.

Mike Holmgren might be totally fucked. The only thing stopping new management from canning him is all the money left on the table. I wouldn't be surprised if they just let him collect the money on his couch though. The new owner payed 1 billion for the Browns, what's another couple mil?

Some potentially bad news involving refs as their union and the NFL still divided over a new deal which lead to the NFL stating the Hall of Fame game and potentially the entire pre-season could be played with replacement refs.

A deal has to be done within the next month or else replacement refs would be used in actual games for the season.

The NFL also is disallowing the media from publishing the names of the replacement officials so they don't get blacklisted by the union for future employment in the league. They also don't want them to start comparing the lack of experience the replacements have compared to the pro ones as part of any complaints about the quality of reffing dropping.
