Yeah you can. I gave Booker T Jerry Lawlers music and Entrance moves and also changed Kurt Angles finisher so he had the Angle Slam from the front and not back.

Rented the game out from blockbuster yesterday, impressed so far, don't know where the complaint about loading times came from, anyway, just one thing i need to know, how exactly do you find the 'swee spot' in order to pull down the title in a ladder match? I had an amazing triple threat ladder match with lashley/cena and orton where the plan was to keep building up Lashleys US title run in my GM mode game, tried moving the R3 thing around and fuck all happened then Cena knocked me down and got up there and took the title down with ease in the end. Was so damn close, this always happens to me in ladder matches!

Another thing with season mode is i keep making storylines which will lead to certain superstars to compete for a title then I find they are not in contention for that title, wtf? Why did they bring this rule in? It was fun the other way. I know there's a number one contender storyline now but we shouldn't have to use that everytime, that also means I can never do armageddon hell in a cell for the title as you can only do 4 people for each storyline.

Other than those two things though, the game is very addicting, played it all day yesterday(i hardly ever play games like that now), i like how the wretslers actually move properly when they get irish whipped instead of just skidding along the ring to(always thought that was lame before).

So after one day of playing I would personally give it 7/10.

Just a quick question about CAWs, I created a CAW and I was going to use him in Season Mode until I found out my CAW has 38 Attribute Points and my first match was against the Undertaker of all superstars, now in the previous one i'd go through Season Mode with another star, gain the experience and use it on my CAW and then put him into Season so it's more balanced. It seems I cannot do that this time so the 25,000 EXP Points I have for Kane seem to mean fuck all. So is there a way to get EXP points a bit easier or am I just gonna have to get my ass whipped for loads of matches and add like 200 Exp each time?

Just stick iton easy if you're finding it too hard.

To find the 'sweet spot' in ladder/MITB matches, you got to move the stick untill you feel the pad vibrate, then just hold it where it is.

Some strange bugs ive noticed in this game so far, elimination chamber matches the ai refuses to dive off the top of the chambers, every time it'll climb on the cage, get onto the chamber, hop down onto the top turnbuckle then do its move, ive sen them diving of the caging etc but they do the above routine every time that ive seen for the top of the chamber position.

Some of the top rope moves seems to have sorta bugged animations, just say you do an elbow drop, sometimes you overshoot and clip them with the edge of your characters leg, the game then sems to suck your character backwards so it looks like you hit the move properly.

I've found one annoying thing which was put me off from playing the game in GM mode, wondering if someone can help out at all here. As i said before, in GM mode I will make storylines/rivalries for the title with the intention of those wrestlers going for the title, but then when it comes to the big match a number of times it has fucked me over by saying those wrestlers I'm making challenge for the titles, spent weeks building up, are not in contention! That really gets to me. Anyone else had this problem? It's such a stupid/typical thing to happen in this game.

One good thing in the season mode(on the hard level) though is when I was Kurt Angle, I got to the legends storyline after winning the title from HHH at WM, and ended up beign in a 6man battle royal with the Rock, Austin, Bret hart, Cactus Jack and Bam Bam Bigelow(for some reason..)...beat/pinned all of them, wasn't hard at all though.

Some questions for you all:

1. When you say logos (referring to the no logos foronline CAWs), do you mean any and all pictures, patterns and tattoos on the CAW or just custom/copyrighted ones?

2. Can NTSC users play against PAL users?

3. How is the generic CAW music? What genres?

4. Do people actually stay down long enough to do top rope moves? (Seems they didn't in '06)

5. Is it easier to create entrances? Seriously, because it was really gay in '06.

6. Can people can people see each other's CAWs' entrances online?

1. Patterns are OK, but ALL logos and writing are not allowed online.

2. On 360, yes. On PS2, no

3. Just the menu music, mainly hip-hop, metal and emo

4. Yup! Hit them with a good light grapple move (belly to belly suplexes, low blows that type of thing) then hit the ropes!

5. Yeah. Advanced mode rules, the preview is constantly running in the background with no load times and instead of setting a timer for the pyro, you just press the button during the preview of when you want it to go off.

6. Can't answer that one, I didn't want to cripple my CAW to play online as him

i was in season with randy orton and got 75k exp, then i completed season and was gonna use the points on my caws... boom!
Had to start doing season on hard with my caw... my caws 90 ovr now anyway

My CAW is maxed out to 99, its great in season mode as you could skip all the matches and win them, thus, getting the season mode achievements quicker, not that I'm doing it

Had a couple of triple threat matches against Extreme Angle and L.O.D, which I won all of them, each of them were awesome victories, especially my cheap win in our third match. The lag is more noticeable during the three ways, but you get used to it and adapt to it.

Okay, one question:

In the Create-an-Entrance mode, where we see no loading times and the preview running constantly in the background...does that count for the PS2 version, too?

Any word on moves available in Create-A-Moveset?

Edit: Found it on GameFAQs. This sounds like some straight up garbage, not to mention
moveset restrictions by weight class now? FOH, I'll wait for 2008 and get it on 360.

Also, if no one has heard off the gamefaqs board, apparently some moves like the top rope hurracurranna and moonsault have standing counters, where you can catch the guy in powerbomb/body slam posistion and it goes into an ultimate control move.

So from what I understand from that topic, they took out like 200 moves and added less than 50.

Yeah, really not sure i I'm buying this game. Definitely not right away, if at all.

From all the coverage I've seen, all that really looks majorly different is the control scheme. If I were you, I'd cancel it, and give it a rent. Then buy it if you like.

the moves that were taken out were replaced by very good ones... new tag moves are good.

I still think 07 is a vast improvement over 06. There was something wrong with 06 that I could never put my finger on that stopped me from playing but I can't put this one down!
